It’s becoming more frequent and why wouldn’t it? The interpretation that “God said” women aren’t Scripturally allowed to be pastors or preach or teach from a pedestal, is more than ramped now. Even if the woman in question was allowing the Holy Spirit to speak or teach through her, the mere idea paired with the biblical reference of women turns off the ears of men and women alike. We’re called heretics, fake Christians, hypocrites, false witnesses, false prophets, and other things.   1 Corinthians 14:34 and 35 states “Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they  are not permitted to speak, but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. (35) And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church”  (NKJV). Can a woman be a pastor? As you can probably tell, I'm not one to say "no, next," or "yes, next." We are going to break this passage down from both historical, logical, and even spiritual standpoints. Hermeneutical standpoint: The Apostle Paul wrote 7 letters to 7 different churches with unique spiritual issues he directly addressed. In light of this verse spoken directly by Paul in 1 Corinthians, we are aware he is talking to the Corinthian church, aka, the church at Corinth, a city-state in Greece. This letter was sent and meant not only for Corinth, but also future churches with the same spiritual issues (and especially churches in the last days, which we are in). This part of the interpretation is at least, mostly correct. Here’s where it gets a little deviated. First, the Scripture states “Let YOUR women.” He does not  say, “Let ALL women. “He says, “Let YOUR women, [church of Corinth]!” “Let YOUR women be silent!” And if you read the New King James Version of this passage, the word “they” is italicized. Not only does he specify “your,” but “they.” “Let YOUR women [in the church of Corinth] be silent…for THEY are not permitted to speak.” Here’s why: If you research ancient Grecian culture, you’ll find that its cities’ inhabitants were notorious for their society of gossip and intelligent conversation thanks to the ancient Greek philosophers. Paul addressed how damaging this culture was to the church, and there are numerous examples all throughout Scripture explaining how gossip is a sin and why (Proverbs, Leviticus, Matthew, James, Romans, to name a few). It creates discord among brethren, it stirs false or damaging rumors, it can be lies, it separates close friends, etc. So obviously, this culture has no place in the church God says must be sanctified from the world. This is what Paul was saying. He referenced the women, because it’s more common in them than with men, which is also tied to Grecian culture. In both Greek and Roman society, women are disvalued. They are objectified and seen as property. They are responsible for producing heirs and completely submitting to the men, who rule all main aspects of their world (government, church, household, etc.). The Greeks and Romans also focused their entire lifestyle on pleasure. So, while the men were off ruling or fighting in wars, the women only had each other oftentimes (and their children). So, with nothing much to do without any rights, they met up with other women and gossiped, because it was the only form of “pleasure” they could get a handle on without the men breathing down their necks. All the problems and the oppression they had pent up from the men, they vented to other women. But wait! That sounds familiar! If you’ve read on the American social class, you’ll also know that it wasn’t just the Romans and Greeks who lived like this! If you remember from history class or even movies based on old America, what’s that all the females were always portrayed doing??? Female hang outs before women had rights while the men were at work was a major behavior all the way up until the 1960s and 70s. Anti-female pastorists are right! The rule is not cultural! So, it’s no surprise wherever this female behavior lurked that it leaked into the church. Paul was well aware that this gossip culture, only exacerbated by pleasure “flesh” culture was a main part of the female life in Greece. So simply telling them to straighten up wasn’t going to work. The only way for the church of Corinth to function properly the way God needed was if the woman kept quiet and submitted to the men, whom most of which didn’t have the gossip problem and could therefore be more intentional with God to their congregation without the corruption of female gossip. It wasn’t personal at all. The females in Corinth were just too engrained in their culture, because it’s all they’ve ever known. The same principal pertained to women in America before we got rights. It’s all EVERY female knew! Anti-female pastorists are right! He was talking about all women! This is the part where I encourage you all to use Patience, one of the Fruits of the Spirit. You must henceforth understand that gossip doesn’t just destroy churches from the pulpit, but also from the congregation. And what is the root of gossip? PRIDE. I don't know about you, but if I was told I couldn't do something legally, biblically, or whatever-ly simply because I'm a girl, you bet I would try to demolish the "patriarchy" based on my own pride. And that's exactly what they did. And in today's world, pride engulfs everything from all sides (and we'll get to that in the spiritual explanation). When Paul spoke of the women, he wasn’t just referring to potential female pastors as the heresy assumes. He was also referencing women in the congregation. He was referencing all women in the Corinthian church, because they all had the same spirit of gossip . But since it isn’t love to simply prohibit all women from going to church, they are commanded to listen to the teachings and if they have any questions, to ask their husbands at home as men are designated by God as the spiritual heads of the household. Katherine Kuhlman is the perfect example of a woman whom God said to preach under His divine command. Katherine was born in 1907 and died in 1976, right in the middle of female gossip culture on steroids without rights. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed to abolish discrimination of gender, race, color, religion, or national origin in the workplace. But Katherine started her ministry in 1928 at only 21 years old (a year younger than when I typed this). Today, her healing ministry is still one of the most talked about ministries, at least from where I come from. If God did not want her to preach and perform miracles from a stage and a pulpit because she’s a woman, then why would He not only allow her, but to visibly and notoriously work through her until her last breath? Explain Katherine’s success in the Lord to me as a woman from a pulpit. And she’s not the only one. As it turns out, gossip wasn’t the only verbal discrepancy the woman were engaging in. The word “speak” in Greek has 3 specific meanings. One, “milo,” means the familiar basics, to talk. Two, “omilo,” adds the word discourse. Discourse doesn’t just mean to talk, but to verbally debate or otherwise, speak with authority, or to verbally challenge. Three, “koybentiazo,” means to confabulate, which by definition means, to “fabricate imaginary experiences as compensation for loss of memory” (Oxford Languages), otherwise, to exaggerate, or lie. This form of “speak,” is most likely the version translated from the Greek scrolls to English as it matches best with the definition of gossip. The second version, omilo could also agree as it means to speak with authority or debate. Paul could have very well been referring to the way in which the women were speaking, not just gossiping, but they were also grounds for verbal disrespect: Challenging the male authority and causing disturbances in the church. This is another reason God decided that it would be better for them to wait until they were home to ask their husbands, for it was better to debate with them than to disrespect pastoral authority. When he quotes, “it is a shame for women to speak in church,” he was referring to both instances of Greek “speak,” gossiping and causing disturbances in the Corinthian church— omilo and koybentiazo. In fact, as Greek and Roman culture doesn’t even allow women in the pulpit, Paul wasn’t even referring to female pastors in this verse. He was referring to the women of the congregation (some of which, could potentially aspire to take on a leadership role out of defiance). Conclusion: Does any modern church have the potential to become or is already tainted by gossip culture? Why of course. It’s run ramped throughout the entire world and in every church in one form or another. But that doesn’t mean every female on earth is a Corinthian woman with a gossip issue that will destroy the church as we know it. Not every woman on the face of the planet is controlled by the spirit of gossip.  On the flip side, I have no doubt that the spirit of gossip from Corinth resides in some…ok, a lot  women today. But it is only those women with that same spirit who are not permitted to teach, not because their gossip dissolves their relationship with God, but because it will taint their teaching, even unintentionally. God isn’t just protecting the church by having Paul write it. He was also protecting the woman from producing tainted fruit in a position of leadership. He wasn’t silencing women completely; he was silencing the disorder of their culture caused by them. He was silencing the spirit of gossip . God was literally protecting them from themselves, and He hasn’t changed. Not all women can become pastors for the exact same reason, but that doesn’t mean we don’t exist. God is not an absolutist towards potential in the world He alone created. God doesn’t discount an entire gender because of a corrupt handful. We also forget there’s 6 other letters Paul wrote to 6 other churches with their own unique problems; but notice we don’t take any of those issues into account and exempt an entire group of people from the pulpit because of them. For example: If you read back in 1 Corinthians chapter 5, you’ll read that it’s not just the women with church-killing problems, but the men as well. Sexual impurity was and is just as ramped as gossip tied to the same pleasure culture. In fact, Paul calls one of the men out, who is sleeping with his own mother. And you see it today everywhere now, pastors are suddenly getting pelted with sexual assault charges out of seemingly nowhere, even if the assault in question happened a hundred years ago before they even found Jesus. And it’s not exactly news, in fact it’s the two biggest stereotypes about men versus women in modern society: Women tend to gossip, and men tend to have lust problems whether they act on them or not. But do we exempt the men from the podium for giving the Gospel a black eye by committing adultery and cheating on his wife? No. Just the women for talking about it. Both issues will destroy a church, but we only discuss the women’s half, because of the leadership God gave to men. We become so enamored with the submission of women under men that we become like the Romans! Even with all the rights women have, they can do everything now. But the one thing they can’t do is preach the exact same truth as the men all because of their gender??? And we think Satan is an idiot??? Logical Standpoint: We must also understand the cultural viewpoint in which this verse was taken. Women in Ancient Rome and Greece were seen as objects and “less than” men and were not permitted to reside or pursue in any form of leadership. Not only are Corinth and the ancient Roman Empire been dissolved for thousands of years but so has their culture, at least, in itself. This goes the same for American culture. As soon as women got their rights to work with men, they had less time to gossip. Yes, society today is driven by pleasure and the flesh much like ancient Rome and Greece, which was prophesied in Scripture, and was why God had this letter added to the final edits of Scripture in the first place. Today, woman in most countries have rights of some form, including positions of leadership. We are not women of Corinth. We are not bound to female suffrage nor are we prohibited from means of leadership. The only reason God had the woman of Corinth keep quiet was for their own good. He was respecting their culture as it existed in that time, because He knew the fruit that would come out of it, despite its restrictions. He is doing the same for us today. Today, there are women (and not very many, but we exist) who are not consumed by the world’s gossip culture and heavy feminism culture that trashes men. They are filled with the Holy Spirit, and God sees them and chooses them to become leaders, preachers, pastors, and teachers; not because He’s changed, but because He sees her heart, sees her future, and sees her fruit! Matthew 7:16 says that we will know them by their fruit.   We are to know pastors and preachers and teachers by their fruit. Here’s what I see today: “She’s bearing so much fruit! But she’s a woman, so she’s a false prophet, next…” You must be blooming joking. God isn’t going to overlook a woman’s fruit all because she’s a woman; much like a lot of people do today. God isn’t going to create male and female and then go around and only focus on His sons and ignore His daughters. What a loving Father He would be, right? God is no misogynist. He’s a gentleman. God didn’t design women to be so submissive to men that we have no rights to God’s inheritance as a daughter of the King. He didn’t only call men to bear fruit. He commands all of us to bear fruit, and you don’t bear fruit for God’s Kingdom by staying quiet. In Acts 2, He doesn’t say that He would pour our His Spirit on ALL people and My sons AND DAUGHTERS would prophesy, oh but the woman will have to keep what I tell them to themselves.” It’s not called “Roman culture,” “Greek culture,” “American female culture,” or even “Corinthian culture.” It’s called “GOSSIP CULTURE.” That goes for anyone on earth, all males and females, females more so! The “all women” Paul was targeting wasn’t every woman past, present, and future. He was targeting all woman bound to the spirit of gossip (and pride) that God knows would destroy a ministry or otherwise bear tainted fruit. He did mean “all women,” but not from a cultural standpoint—a spiritual one! “Women are not to preach from a pulpit,” needs to be changed to, “Woman are not to preach from a pulpit if they are under the influence of the spirit of gossip.” I recently saw a post on Instagram by a woman named Christy Noel (@christy_noel) and ironically, her post popped up in my feed less than twelve hours after I started writing this article. As soon as I read it, I thanked God for sending her post my way, because it’s exactly what I needed to further my own teaching. She words it so beautifully, yet direct and to the point. This is what she wrote and posted: We say, “women can’t preach,” but it’s still okay to preach to thousands of people from the pulpit of social media, minister on podcasts, and preach in their spheres of influence. Yet the moment it’s the context of a church service behind a pulpit, ‘a woman shouldn’t be up there.’” If women can’t preach, then why did God [Himself] keep handing them the mic? Deborah judged and led a nation in Judges 4. Huldah gave a prophetic word to a king in 2 Kings 22. Priscila taught a male preacher in Acts 18. Mary Magdalene preached the first resurrection sermon in John 20. And the Samaritan evangelized a city (after talking to Jesus at the well) in John 4. They weren’t waiting for a man’s permission. The were walking in God’s commission. Let’s talk 1 Timothy 2 and 1 Corinthians 14. You love quoting “women be silent,” but you skipped “no gold jewelry,” “no fancy hairstyles,” and “wear head coverings.” If we’re going to be literal (which I like to call biblically liberal), be all in (don’t pick and choose like the heretics). But here’s the truth: Those were cultural corrections, not eternal commands. Paul wasn’t silencing women—He was silencing disorder. When Paul said things like, “Women should remain silent in church” or, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man” (2 Timothy 12:2), he wasn’t issuing a universal ban on women preaching. He was addressing specific problems in specific churches, and the challenges of specific people (as were the letters written to)— chaos, confusion, and cultural issues that were disrupting the gathering. Fight it as you will, but men are not exempt from the spirit of gossip. Just because it isn’t in their typical nature doesn’t mean they don’t do it. And God can exempt a Christian man from preaching for the same reason as a woman if He sees that it’s a strong enough threat to his future ministry. Jesus didn’t silence women. He taught them. He trusted them. He sent them. Mary sat at His feet like a disciple. A woman prepared Him for burial. A woman was first to preach the resurrection. If the gospel starts with a woman’s voice, who are you to try and shut it down? Acts 2:17-18 says, “In the last days I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,” not “stay quiet,” not “post but don’t preach.” Prophesy. To every woman with fire in her bones, preach. Don’t bow to the religious spirits dressed in church clothes. You are anointed and called just like Esther for such a time as this. Daughters…prophesy. The kingdom needs your voice. Spiritual Standpoint: So, now that we know gossip was the origin story to this verse, what the heck happened to females today? Remember when I mentioned pride snuck in there? Feminism used to be a fight for female rights, which conservative women today would be all for...if it weren't for the book of Revelation. Note that feminism didn't exist when Paul wrote Acts, so it's not like he had the resources to address everything in detail. Today, feminism isn't just just a fight for women's rights. It's a rage to be better than men. We use words like "misogynist" and "oppression," and "sexist." We blame men for all our problems and justify our "rights". We no longer want to marry or have kids; and if we accidentally let our libido drive, we can always kill the baby. We want to pleasure ourselves instead of become one. We burn with passion for other women instead of men. We want to deviate as far as possible from the way God designed human relationships between one man and one woman. Read that again. Everything that modern women are screaming for; every "right" they can get their hands on, Feminism, abortion, "toxic masculinity," lady boss syndrome, lesbianism, etc.; it was all part of Satan's plan to destroy God's intended design for true feminism, what it means to be a female, a woman of God. God designed men to be the leaders, so in order to destroy feminism, Satan had to convince women that men think we are weak; WE must take control and become the leaders! We don't want men telling us what to do! We must do everything than a man can do! We must become independent! We must surpass men! And for some of us, "We are men!" We are so blinded by the crave for control and a hate towards men, that we are no longer acting like women. It's all about ME! It's the worst case of gender pride, jealousy, strife, resentment, and dysphoria we've ever seen! But oh, the same thing is happening to men! Masculinity is tanking ! Men think they are women; they are trading love for a wife and lusting after other men; they are cross dressing like females; they are emotionally unstable and insecure. They are either bowing to feminism or lust, or both. They are literally becoming weaker. They are no longer equipped for God's calling on their life! They are acting less like leaders and more like puppies with their tails between their legs. Satan is pushing so hard to destroy masculinity, because they are the leaders ! In Genesis, God tells us all about the role of the men. He made Adam before He made Eve. He made Adam's roles different than Eve's and biggest of all, God made Adam the leader; NOT Eve. And if the leaders get taken out and the world becomes a war of the genders, everything is ruined: marriages, families, the economy, the government, social structure, CHURCHES. Men were designed to lead them all, but the women believed Satan's lies and now their pride has infiltrated our system. They have to sit where a man sits, make decisions that only a man can decide, and rule how a man rules. They truly believe that we are equal to men and are capable of doing everything a man can do, and it is all deception from the devil himself. God designed men and woman to be different, to compliment each other. Women can do what men can't and men can do what women can't; not because we literally can't, but because our version of "can" isn't as effective and efficient as God's design calls for stability. This fact is inevitable . Women's brains physically cannot work the same as a man's no matter how much we think it can. It's like trying to do everything your hand does with your foot. No matter how badly we want it to, it's not gonna happen . For example: Men are more emotionally stable than women. It doesn't mean that women are unstable or mentally weak; it just means that women react differently than men in certain situations, stress especially; because of how God designed our unique states of wellbeing. Being a leader is stressful and requires heavy decisions and pressure. Women were not designed to absorb this; every ounce of stress the world throws at us. Our brains were not designed to handle it like a man can. A woman's hormonal cycle switches up four times per month. We literally have four different personalities based on bodily functions we can't control. Stress disrupts these cycles, causing both mental and physical instability, and they are not reset until the end of the month. This growing instability can cause us to make bad decisions or experience emotional breakdown. Meanwhile, a man's hormones reset once every day. Their disruptions and emotions are reset every morning. They were literally made to take on the stress of leadership, because their body is designed with a daily reset. Women do not have this. Their stability is constant, while a woman's is constantly fluctuating. Reading that, who on earth do you think would be more efficient at making decisions that could both make or break our nation as a whole??? I'll give you a hint: It's not the woman! So, if women are so unstable, then why can they be pastors? Churches are supposed to be one of the main influences of our nation. That's a big job! A woman would surely screw that up! And you are right, but there is an exception. The number is few, much fewer than men in pastoral positions; but there are some women on earth who do have the mental capacity for it. They are no better than ordinary women, but they strive to be the kind of female God intended for them to be. They do not use their emotions or their every-changing hormones as an excuse to act poorly . They do not believe they are higher than they are. They are not feminist, they are not lady bosses, they value life and a structure of marriage and family more than they value what the world tells them they should value. And most importantly, their position and heart posture under a man's leadership has not been tainted. They know what God tells them to be in His word and do not deviate from it all because God put them in a position of leadership. In the last days, both feminism and masculinity are tanking. But when the posture of the male leader wanes, there is only one gender left to give the people hope. God isn't going to go to the "non-binaries" or the masculine females or the feminine males. He's going to go for the masculine males and the feminine females who are actively following His design for their gender. It's not hate; it's stability. And if God designs a woman with the stability to be a pastor, you can no longer argue with Him. It does happen and it doesn't go against His word either! The Holy Spirit will use anyone who will listen to him and obey Him. So, if the man he wants won't do it, He's gonna find someone else, and if that someone else so happens to be a female, you better believe there's a congregation out there who needs some testing! God's design for men to be the leaders doesn't disqualify Him from using a woman to be His mouthpiece. If you don't believe me, read about Deborah in Judges chapter 4. However, there are still restrictions to this position of leadership! Scroll down to read about them! What happened? Pride and offense. Paul may have implied the spirit of gossip as the reason to keep some women quiet, but last I checked, all sin stems from pride, and today, we purposely strive to foundation our lives from pride. Every action we decide was based on being offended from something someone else said, yet our justification phrases are completely distorted from the truth. Instead of accepting responsibility of our female emotions, we use them to drive us and try instead to turn it into something "beautiful," and "liberating." We want to be powerful. We want to have all the money. We want to sit in a high place. We want to appear stronger. And when someone tells us we can't, we call them names, blame them for all our problems, and be defiant. Oh, but defiance is power! Well, um, that's not what God said to Satan when he played that game. Not just defiant to social standards, but defiant to God's design. Today, the spirit of gossip isn't the only spirit keeping women from being pastors. It's pride. It's women who believe they are of a "higher" calling than God gave them, simply because they were offended. And it gets even more ironic, because this offense isn't just primary, it's secondary! We even use gossip to spread the offense! A lot (not all) of the female pastors today, God didn't put them up there. They did all by themselves out of feminism, out of gender defiance. You can look up "female" or "woman pastor" on a search engine and the images that appear are painfully obvious! And I truly belief this is a big part of why 1 Corinthians 14:34 and 35 has been misinterpreted. It's not that they believe women can't make a peep in church or it's a heresy. They're afraid we're dipping into feminism when we believe women can speak from a pulpit. And yes, they aren't wrong in the long run, but the belief still can't be absolute, because not all woman are feminist! Not all woman preaching from a pulpit today are there because they said so and not God! I don't believe women can be pastors, because I'm feminist. I'm anti-feminist. I only care about God's design for females, not the world's. I only care about what the Holy Spirit is telling me to do, not what "men say I can't." The world's design for females is built on pride and offense, two things I hate. And notice I'm typing this out instead of crying foul from a pulpit. That being said, I understand why the restriction is believed...but that's why we should be listening to the Holy Spirit when we read Scripture. The full counsel of God isn't just what we see in our Bibles. It's what He speaks to us on a daily basis our entire lives. The Word of God isn't just the Bible, it's every Word from His own mouth, past, present, and future. The Restrictions that DO Exist as a Woman in Leadership: There are perfect examples of woman pastors today whom God called them, and who God did not. Scripture says, “you will know them by their fruit,” (Matthew 7:16). But as a woman, the restrictions based on our God-given design are not a punishment. A woman can be a pastor and a leader, but there are still conditions in which this allowance rests. After all, we were not designed the same as men, physically or psychologically. If you know that God has called you to teach or be a pastor, then so be it! But know that you are not permitted to do so alone depending on how high that position of power is. Women are certainly allowed pastoral and/or leadership roles in the church. They are permitted to preach sermons and teach and give suggestions and insight on how a church is run. But they are NOT permitted to be at the highest rank of that church without a husband. Women are not the spiritual authority. Men are, and that spiritual authority does not strictly refer to the household. This also goes with whether they are married or not. We must acknowledge that women are very emotional creatures and are easily driven by them in their intensity. Men are the opposite (most of the time). If you are a single emotion-driven woman leading and running a church with that much power, and without a man to compliment your design and act as the spiritual lead for you, you are going to fall. This is the reason we have never had a female president of the United States. We aren’t being sexist—we know what our gender is capable of, more notoriously when driven by our emotions. With that much power and no male to straighten us up when we get emotional, we could make a decision that could otherwise jeopardize the wellbeing of the entire country. It’s the same with running a high-ranking place in God’s Kingdom and in His Houses. Positions with that much power need to be held by the men in both church and state as they are, not just the spiritual authority, but the more emotionally stable gender. They were designed to process emotions and decision-making differently than women. It’s just how they were designed versus us. It’s not oppression. It’s biology and God is responsible for it. So, if you have a problem with the pot, take it up with the Potter. God isn’t sexist and he certainly isn't feminist. He is protecting His own children in His own house.

Yoga is another controversial topic in the Christian community. Despite its pagan origin, much like Halloween, we tend to dumb it down to “It’s just stretching,” and we ignore the real spirituality behind it. So, I took the liberty of doing my own research. I personally always had a bad feeling about yoga and after hearing what my parents and some friends had to say about it concerning what God told them, I decided that others should know the truth behind it. There are many ways to stretch in a way that is all physically, mentally, and overall spiritually safe…Yoga is NOT one of them. So, here’s the truth about it.   History   “The history of yoga spans more than 5,000 years, beginning in ancient India as a spiritual practice focused on uniting the mind, body, and spirit. The practice has evolved through several distinct periods, moving from a primarily meditative discipline to a more physical one, and eventually spreading globally in a variety of forms. Yoga was created as a spiritual practice to unite the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness, with the ultimate goal of achieving inner liberation” (peace) (Google Ai overview).   Each position represents a specific Hindu god in which you are honoring and worshiping (even though there are thousands of Hindu gods). There are 84 original yoga positions with “the belief that there are 84 different ways to align the body and mind for spiritual practice” (Google Ai overview). But depending on the region and posture over the centuries, there are hundreds more (Ai overview says 84 million, but I have a hard time believing that).   What does God say about this?   First of all, God should be our source of peace. When we give ourselves over to a counterfeit, we will reap the consequences of that counterfeit, because Satan is the creator of all counterfeits to God’s creation. There is what God made and then there’s what Satan manipulated, perverted, and corrupted. There is no gray area. God does not accept or opt to protect those who practice things of the world, especially those things birthed by the demonic. He will warn you of them with His Holy Spirit, but at the end of the day, you have free will. Secondly, the only spiritual practices permitted for TRUE wellbeing, are those given and instructed by God as your Creator. Anything else will result in consequence, whether it be spiritual, mental, physical, or all three. Dabbling with it is still involvement and this practice is a form of idolatry. “Liberation” is a dangerous word. In worldly terms, it means freedom from things that you were never trapped in to begin with; and if you are, it’s not the universe’s fault; it is the war between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The Hindu religion sees liberation in relation to all negative things, but unfortunately, this includes the ultimate positive Truth, which is God, simply because it doesn’t align with their (counterfeit) truth. All religion outside of true Christianity, a true relationship with God, is a counterfeit. This means that any practice or modulation that any religion makes outside of God are grounds of false god (demon) worship. You cannot practice both actions of Christianity and other religions and expect to still be aligned with God’s real Truth. You are either all in or you’re all out, and for those who are lukewarm (half in and half out), God will reject. You cannot worship both God and other false gods. God will not accept you as His own. And it hurts because it doesn’t matter if your practice of false religion is intentional or unintentional. This is why you must know and listen to the Holy Spirit. It is not God the Father or God the Son’s (Jesus Christ) responsibility to tell you. That’s not their job. Your job as true Christians is to listen to the Holy Spirit and obey Him; to consecrate yourself, and to remain in the right standing of the covenant God intended for Himself and mankind. To practice modulations of foreign gods and other religions is to defile that covenant and if you make it to Heaven, you WILL be held accountable for it. Ephesians 6:12- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual  hosts  of wickedness in the heavenly  places. I've mentioned this in other articles: Good can be corrupted, but evil cannot be redeemed. God is Good and He creates; Satan is evil and he manipulates. If Satan starts something, invents something, teaches mankind something; Christians cannot finish it; they can’t even try to take ownership of it. Darkness cannot start something and light take up its mantel and say that it’s no longer evil, it’s good now. In fact, this deceit was prophesied in the Book of Isaiah. God can make something, and man can pervert it and corrupt it and hand it over to darkness (and God will let us due to free will; Romans 1:24), but Satan will never make something that God will take up for Himself and call it good. Although some good can become corrupt, evil will always be evil. This is because darkness cannot be manipulated, but light can. If you take a flashlight and keep it off, notice you can’t do much with it. There is nothing to manipulate, because darkness is the absence of light. You can’t bend darkness, because it is and always was. There is nothing to manipulate. But the moment you turn it on, you can do things with it. You can shine it in the midst of darkness wherever you want. You can see things you couldn’t before and from that sight, you can make proper judgments. With certain objects like a mirror or a piece of reflective material, such as glass, you can bend the light’s rays. You can even place a sheet of colored plastic over it and change the light’s color. Light can be manipulated in many ways, both good and evil, but darkness will always stay the same, because it is the absence of light; the absence of truth; the absence of goodness. And this is why God will never claim it, because He is subject to His own rule of constant goodness, truth, love, and life. He will never take part in any sort of evil or darkness; and does so despite knowing all about it! That being said, God created healthy habits in which He wants us to participate in to maintain a healthy physical body so He can work through us and walk out our calling. He created good food, the resources to exercise and subtle things, like stretching. Satan perverted these things. We now have unhealthy food, distractions that seem like real exercise, and demonic infiltration of stretching like Yoga. It doesn't mean that the original design no longer exists; it just means a counterfeit, a fake version that did not come from God, now exists with it. Your job is to find out which is which using God's Word and the Holy Spirit, and participate in the good one, NOT the bad one. You can still stretch and it is recommended; but not in the light or intentions of yoga or the demons it acknowledges. If you want to meditate, Philippians 4:8 tells you what to think about. Isaiah 5:20- Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Romans 1:24- So, God let them follow the desires of their sinful hearts. They did sinful things among themselves with their bodies. Riaan Swiegelaar, a former leader of a Satanist church turned Christian speaks on behalf of things that are demonic that Christians tend to be ignorant about. One of these things was yoga. “Yoga is extremely demonic. Yeah…anything—that if we take anything—so, we can talk about a lot of different things, like yoga, or we can talk about all different types of modalities and practices; we have to look at what, where does it originate from; Who started it. Like, not what people make it to be; not what people try to twist it or slam a Bible verse or the word “Christian” on it—it doesn’t make it not what it is. So, yoga is based on a practice that honors thousands and thousands of Hindu deities in the positions you are literally posing and standing in positions of those Hindu gods and deities. So, it’s a form of worship to foreign gods (to demons). And the Word [of God] is actually very clear on that. So, we also have to understand that a lot of people think, you know, ‘if I don’t go and do this in a dark room where there’s a satanic altar, then it’s okay.’ There’s only two things in the spirit world, and I’m talking about the spirit world that is here around us; and it’s the Kingdom of God, which is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and there’s everything else that falls outside of that. So, there’s no grey. So, you can’t say, ‘oh but I’m a Christian, I’m covered, I’m protected, it’s okay for me to dabble a little and practice a little bit of that, and this, and because’—and the Word [of God] is clear: You cannot sit at one table and drink from a cup from another table (1 Corinthians 10:21); you understand it. It is clear, and I’ve said this many times, is that: God does not put these rules and laws in His Word to control us. It’s to protect that covenant that He wants with us.” 1 Corinthians 10:21- You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord’s Table and at the table of demons, too. Holy Yoga “Scripture warns that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). He tries to infiltrate worship with counterfeits that look spiritual yet lead away from the Gospel. Yoga isn’t simply exercise. It was created as a spiritual practice to unite with Hindu deities (demons). The word “yoga” means “to yoke,” and its poses aren’t neutral stretches but physical offerings in a system of worship that denies the [One] true God. We can’t take a practice designed for idolatry and make it holy by adding a Christian label. God commanded His people not to adopt pagan worship (Deuteronomy 12:30-31). This is where the spiritual warfare component becomes clear. One of Satan’s schemes is to try to “Christianize” pagan practices, so believers drop their guard. When a church offers “holy yoga,” it’s like rolling a Trojan horse through the doors. On the surface, it looks like exercise and fellowship, yet inside it carries the seeds of confusion, compromise, and further false teaching. Paul warned that we are not to be ignorant of Satan’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), because deception often comes dressed as good. Some argue that “Christian yoga” is like eating redeemed meat offered to idols in Paul’s day. Yet that comparison doesn’t hold. Paul allowed believers to eat meat because food itself was created by God and morally neutral. The temple rituals were sinful, but the meat was not. Yoga, on the other hand, is the ritual. The poses and breathing are themselves acts of spiritual worship in Hinduism. It would be like pasting Bible verses on a Ouija board and calling it a “Christian Ouija board.” Yoga can’t be redeemed. Others say, “God knows my heart. I’m not worshiping Hindu gods. I’m worshiping Jesus while doing yoga.” The problem is that God never told us we can worship Him however we choose. He sets the terms of worship. Nadab and Abihu learned this when they offered “strange fire” that God had not commanded, and they were struck down (Leviticus 10:1-2). Good intentions don’t sanctify disobedience. Paul said he could never eat or drink anything that caused a weaker brother to stumble (1 Corinthians 8:13). If that’s true about food, how much more about spiritual practices rooted in idolatry. Someone who sees professing Christian doing yoga (even so-called “holy yoga”) could stumble into New Age deception and idolatry. So please don’t be taken in by the idea of “holy yoga.” Recognize it as spiritual warfare disguised as health and wholeness. The enemy presents counterfeits, yet God calls us to worship Him in spirit and In truth (John 4:24). Holiness isn’t about what we rename; it’s about obedience to Christ” (Doreen Virtue, former yoga practicer). The Bible warns us about being yoked to other beings, when we are to be yoked only with the One True God. To be yoked to demons is to be trapped. “The Bible teaches against being ‘unequally yoked’ with unbelievers, meaning forming deep, binding partnerships like marriage or business with those whose faith and values are contrary to God’s” (Google Ai Overview). “To be yoked together with someone means that you are in a compromising partnership with them, and you’re compromising your beliefs to do it” (CrossExamined, 2023). So, to be in a yoked business with false gods is to compromise your relationship with Christ and also your own belief system in order to hold onto that practice. When you struggle with a belief or a sin, you will often form a protective justifying barrier around it when you refuse to surrender your pride after an extended period of time. 2 Corinthians 6:14- “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 11:14- And no wonder, for Satan  himself masquerades as an angel of light. Deuteronomy 12:30-31-  And after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.”   You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. 2 Corinthians 2:11- In order that Satan  might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. Leviticus 10:1-2- Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command.   So, fire came out  from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. 1 Corinthians 8:13- Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall. John 4:24- God is spirit,  and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.     The real spiritual deal As yoga is viewed as physically good for you, spiritual health will always thwart physical health, because everything is spiritual. Your spiritual wellbeing determines your physical and your mental wellbeing, because God created you and all things, and He is the original Spirit. It’s not so much the physical benefits that are the “sin”, but the spiritual consequences that will in turn, affect your physical body and mental state in the form of the actions. Many Christians believe that they can “christianize” pagan things like yoga, but they can’t. It was never the atmosphere in which it was created that is demonic, it is the actions themselves, which were dedicated to demons (false gods). So, it doesn’t matter if you were to practice it in a Hindu shrine in a dark room, with a statue and candles, or a church with worship music playing. Performing the positions themselves in a posture of tainted meditation worships the demonic in which it was created, no matter what atmosphere you are in. The atmosphere is only a boost in activation and invitation; so, although setting the pagan Hindu stage would attract more of the demonic, performing in a church or with worship music playing would render useless, because light cannot pair with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14). Demons are very crafty with this sort of thing. They will have you believe that if something is physically good for you (or seemingly mentally good for you, like Hindu meditation), then it must be spiritually good for you, and therefore, it is okay. And they will tell people that they are covered by the blood and slap a Christian label on it and claim that “God wouldn’t allow demons to attack them while doing something physically healthy” (even though sex is also physically good for you, but when done outside of God’s covenant of marriage, results in spiritual, mental, and even mass societal damage.) And furthermore, the demons will even manipulate things in your physical body to keep that illusion alive. You must understand that ALL physical ailments, sicknesses, and diseases are experienced in the physical, but they are the result of the spiritual. God did not cause them, Satan did. Satan is involved in the curse of man. He is the reason for it. He is the spirit behind all physical ailments, and to make sure his influence sticks, he must also create counterfeit medicinal cures. Much like Pilates, yoga stretches and strengthens the body. This is good for warding off pain in certain areas, like joints, muscles, and tendons. But when actions dedicated to the demonic are used instead of the natural way God intended, the demons you invite will make it as though your symptoms are cured…for a while. And then, when they return, they will be even worse (Matthew 12:43-45). But you won’t yield; you will think you just need to do more yoga. But that’s not all. A demon’s jurisdiction goes beyond the specifics of their invitation. Yoga was just a foothold. They will begin to affect other areas of your life that don’t even relate to the original joint pain. You will be blind to their presence, because they don’t sound like they relate to the first foothold. Over time, other problems will show up in your life, but because they are so vastly different than simple joint pain, you’ll never make the connection…unless you listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who will tell you where it came from. You will be trapped suffering in the vice of your own pride until you yield. Matthew 12:43-45- “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.   Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.   Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”   Love you all! Stretch responsibly!

Consecration is the act of making something sacred; to set something apart from the norm. The closer we are to Christ’s return, the more extreme Christian consecration has to be. And it could even be things that aren’t sins that we have to get rid of now, and we can’t be worried about people calling us legalist overly religious Christians. Why? Three reasons: One, the closer Christ’s return is, the heavier Satan is twisting the reality of spirituality. Two, on behalf of that, the craftier he is getting with his lies. And three, on behalf of both, the more “harmless” actions are becoming so associated with darkness, Christians cannot partake in them anymore. And one of the highest lies he’s gotten away with in the Christian community is the softness of our consecration in how we view it. And for those of us who are disciplined and hardcore with it, we’re labeled legalist and religious and even Pharisees, and I’m not even denying those people. But there are some of us, we do exist, that the Holy Spirit told us to do these things, not out of legalism, but because the world’s mentality on spirituality has deviated from truth and light so far, that we have no choice but to adapt to it in order to make a difference. And unfortunately, that means letting go of certain practices that were harmless once upon a time, but not anymore. I’ll give you an example: Pumpkin carving during the Fall season. I know, right? That’s so random! It’s not even—what??? Nobody understand it when I tell them that the Holy Spirit Himself told my family to stop carving pumpkins in the fall, and it’s not because we were doing anything wrong. So, a little background; we were raised in a very strict Christian household, and I don’t mean religious trauma or abuse or anything like that. Our house was a Christian house of genuine authenticity, love, and respect, and nothing was forced upon us. Halloween was one of those things that my sister and I didn’t understand why we weren’t allowed to involve ourselves in it. It’s a national holiday, everybody partakes in some form, and even though the real deal celebrates everything the devil stands for, there are ways to Christianize it; or so we thought. So, when we grew up and we finally understood it, we were very obedient in that category and we treated Halloween like any normal day of the year. We did not associate at all. Any possible thing having to do with Halloween was prohibited (Our porch lights were off and sometimes, we purposely leave the house because after 15 doorbell rings, it gets annoying and nobody ever reads the sign that we aren't giving out candy for some reason). So obviously, like normal kids, we felt very much left out, because even our Christian friends were celebrating, some of them. And even the ones who didn’t had at least some “harmless” fun. So, one year when my sis and I were teenagers, we went through all the common practices, and we reasoned that out of everything associated with Halloween carving pumpkins could be a legitimately harmless activity that our family could enjoy without giving people the wrong idea. We also recognized that carving pumpkins had been seen as a seasonal thing and not just a Halloween thing. And we didn’t make jack-o-lanterns; we carved other things like smiley faces and memes and funny kiddy things. And for those few years, we were not convicted, at least, I don’t remember ever being convicted. And the people we lived around knew that we were Christians and when they saw our pumpkins, they’re initial reaction was “Oh, they don’t celebrate Halloween. They’re just doing a universal family fall activity.” Here’s where it got weird. A good several years later when my sister and I were 15, we moved from South Tulsa to Bixby in 2018. And I only remember one or two times our family carved pumpkins in the fall after the move. But some time after the last year we did it, my sister suddenly told me, “Hey, I don’t think we need to be carving pumpkins anymore.” And me, who had found it to be a little boring and tedious, and kiddy anyway now that we were grown up didn’t care and thought nothing of it, so we stopped. It wasn’t until 2025 that my mother suddenly confessed to me when I was 22, that as a matter of fact, she had been convicted by the Holy Spirit Himself about us carving pumpkins in the past and just didn’t tell us, because we eventually fell out of eagerness for it by ourselves and she didn’t think she needed to…until I started writing this article nearly 8 years later LOL. Before I launched Lavender Logical and was working on the Halloween article, the thought rekindled. I had earlier added in the article why the act of pumpkin carving was a pagan practice and should be avoided (and my belief remains firm); but then I began to question why the act of taking a knife to a pumpkin would be a sin. It doesn’t make sense. They way I had explained it made it sound like literally anything could be a pagan practice. It was like saying the pagans used to worship their false gods by washing dishes, so as Christians, we can’t wash dishes anymore (can I get an amen!) And also, who’s to say that the Celtics were the first to carve anything into a vegetable? It really did sound legalistic and that’s not gonna bear me any fruit by saying that to people! So, I asked God why our family wasn’t allowed to carve pumpkins anymore, but we were allowed to before…or were we? Had we ignored Him? We never made jack-o-lanterns or carved anything unholy or dark, or scary, so what was our case? And He told me through my mom, who confessed her conviction we hadn’t known about. Turns out, His command had to do with both us and everyone around us as members of a twisted last-days society; as the Bible calls it, “like the days of Noah,” when everyone thought Noah was crazy for building the Ark. Now the Christians (at least, some of us), are being laughed at for refusing to celebrate Halloween. Here’s what I discovered: Carving a pumpkin with no association or acknowledgement to a pagan holiday isn’t a sin…at least, it’s not supposed to be. But just like body piercings, tattoos, and alcohol which, in the correct context aren’t sins either, but even when stewarded in that correct heart posture, guess how many lives you still can cause to stumble into sin all because of them? It’s almost as if the lives of others we affect can’t read our hearts! (Sarcasm; that’s literally in the Bible.) God proceeded to remind me of how most curse words became curse words. Some of them started out as harmless, but today, they are censored for their vulgarity and negativity. Take the “b-word” for example. I don’t need to spell it out, you guys know what it is. It used to be the scientific terminology for a female dog. It was fact ! But the word started to be used in a negative way, then derogatory, then vulgar, and today, it’s so vastly known as a curse word, that hardly anyone even remembers its origin. It’s gotten so bad that it’s literally a form of godly consecration not to say that word amongst the line of other curse words. If you’ve seen in another article, I explained how demons can attach themselves to things. And because demons are spirit beings and therefore invisible to the physical realm, they have the power to attach to anything we can see by their given jurisdiction by God; but also, what we can’t see. Things like words . The Bible says that our words have power. This isn't just said to give us a faith boost. It has genuine power given from the spiritual into the physical, because it is one of God's characteristics and we are made in His likeness. Just as He can influence the realms with His words, so can we. The only difference between our verbal influence and His is that we can't see them all manifest...but they still happen! And the ones that we can't see with our physical eyes, God can see! This is why we must be careful with what we say. Demons can attach themselves to words because they are spiritual beings with jurisdiction to the physical just like words are. And Satan, their commander has the power to pervert and manipulate things which were birthed from the harmless into harmful. Harmless things can be handed over to the darkness once it has been used in a dark context long enough. They become cursed. Curse words are the result of words which gained power through Satan's perversion instead of God. Instead of being used for good, they are used for evil; instead of building people up and blessing, they are for tearing down and cursing. They are literally cursed words. So, if words have power, but actions speak louder than words, that means actions can be spiritually manipulated and cursed too, even harmless actions! Things like pumpkin carving may have been harmless once upon a time, but it isn’t 2012 anymore. We are closer than ever to Christ’s return, and the act has become so associated with Halloween and no longer an act of the autumn season that no matter what you carve as a Christian, nobody cares. In their eyes, you’re associating with Halloween, which will ruin your witness. The act has become cursed. Which brings me to my next point. How the world views Christians in 2025 is not the same as it was in 2012. It’s one of the reasons the word “repentance” is being blasted from the mountains and not just from the pulpits and the crazy homeless guy with a sign by the street (we need more of those guys). There’s a phrase in the Bible that repeats itself in nearly all of the correctional Books like Proverbs, Romans, and Isaiah and some other books. The phrase is always the same group of words, “feet that are swift in running to evil.” Up until recently, I thought it was a figure of speech; it’s NOT. People today are so desperate to find dirt on Christians, and I’m not talking stains, I’m talking SPECKS; GRAINS OF SAND. They are looking for whatever they can possibly get their hands on as an excuse to sin, no matter how frivolous and petty it is! And it’s not just unbelievers; it’s also lukewarm and unrepentant Christians. They aren’t going for big and obvious things anymore. They are going for small useless things that everyone takes for granted. Petty things that aren’t even sins, like carving a smiley-face into a pumpkin! But I will second that: ANY petty action isn’t a sin until the Holy Spirit tells you not to. When that happens, it will turn into a sin henceforth if you disobey. This is currently the case for my family, but it could be different for yours. The point is to consult with the Holy Spirit if you should continue this fall activity. Assume nothing! That's another one of Satan's tricks is to get people to lean on their own understanding and reason away commands from God! Here’s the average thought process of neighbors finding carved pumpkins out of a Christian home back in 2012: *Neighbor sees Christian family’s pumpkins out on the curb. One has a glowing cross in it.* “Oh look. This Christian family carved pumpkins. I see a cross and a smiley face. I don’t see any decorations. They must not celebrate Halloween for their own reasons.” Here’s the average thought process of neighbors finding carved pumpkins out of a Christians home 2025: *Neighbor sees Christian family’s pumpkins out on the curb. One has a glowing cross in it.* “Oh look. This Christian family carved pumpkins. I see a cross…They must be the kind of Christians who try to make Halloween holy. Carving pumpkins is associated with Halloween. They say they don’t celebrate Halloween, but they’ve carved pumpkins. If they’re gonna be hypocrites, then that means I can celebrate Halloween whether I’m a Christian or not and it should be okay, because they’re doing it. If they can celebrate however they want, then I can celebrate however I want.” See the massive difference? Do you see how shallow and self-centered people are now? They’re looking for grains of sand because they don’t really wanna change. And you say that it’s not your problem and it’s not your fault, but that's pride. Just because you are one person in 8 billion on the planet doesn't mean God won't hold you responsible for your own viewpoint towards your neighbor. Last I checked, the most important command in all of Scripture is to love your neighbor as you love yourself and as you love God with your heart, soul, and strength (mind). Loving your neighbor isn't dismissing your own fault for their sins. It's being concerned for their soul and doing something about it! It's making sure they don't stumble no matter how petty you think it is! When God tells you to stop doing something because of how it's affecting your neighbor, your opinion doesn't matter. God's Word is not just the Bible; it's every Word that comes out of His mouth past, present, and future. Pumpkin carving in itself may not be a sin, but causing your neighbor to stumble and rebelling against God who warned you it would happen and you pulling that self-righteous assumption, IS. God would never allow you to cause someone to stumble without warning you first. So, if you decided to ignore him because of how petty you thought it was, bing! You've just sinned with not one, but two charges: Disobedience, and the causation of a neighbor to stumble, both of which are listed in the Bible (Romans 14:13 and Samuel 15:23). And plot twist, the prophet Samuel quoted that disobedience is as the sin of witchcraft. What is it we were trying to avoid by not celebrating Halloween again? Romans 12:1- Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.   Romans 12:2- Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. John 17:17- “Sanctify them by the Truth; Your [God’s] Word is Truth” (Jesus praying) 1 Peter 2:9- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. A lot of people read this and say, “This was God’s command for Israel, not us.” But later in the New Testament when Jesus died, the commands and benefits God gave to Israel were given to the Gentiles, aka, the entire world; including everyone who is not Jewish. We as Christians are God’s chosen people, a royal priesthood because the Holy Spirit lives inside of us as He did the Holiest of Holies of the Tabernacle. Our flesh is required to be kept sacred because we are now that tabernacle! Anyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who has acknowledged the Holy Spirit living inside you, this consecration is required! We are to be set apart from the world. We live in the world, but not of it. We do not follow the customs of the world but are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). This means that anything the world has made unholy, no matter if it was holy once upon a time, we are no longer allowed to participate no matter how petty or harmless we still think it is . Pumpkin carving used to be seen as harmless, but today, it is not. In fact, when you learn about how pumpkin carving even began, you’ll find that actually, it was never harmless to begin with! Pumpkin carving was simply used as an example to many I could share and have done so with articles of their own. I have articles on alcohol, body piercings, tattoos, and dark styles of fashion. The bottom line is that consecration comes by obedience to God, which is full surrender, and the ultimate form of worshipping Him! To ignore what the Holy Spirit tells you to avoid because you’ve decided that it’s harmless is pride in the form of disobedience by leaning on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). God didn’t give Israel all of these rules to make their lives difficult. He was assuring that their way of life was visible to the surrounding nations so that they would know the power of God when His wrath came upon them; to know that there was a real God in heaven who actually listens and performs miracles unlike the idols they were worshipping. He even promised blessing to the Israelites for their obedience to those rules to compensate for the struggle of the flesh. It is sad to read that the Israelites always fell back into ignorance, disobedience, and no consecration; and their consequences should be reflected by us and not forgotten. God’s blessing comes with today’s consecration just as it did in the Old Testament; and so do the consequences. Just like God’s reasons for Israel’s rules, as Christians, we are to be set apart so that everyone around us can see evidence of our walk with Christ. When an unbeliever or a new Christians sees an experienced Christian without consecration, such as drinking, or partaking in actions associated with Halloween, they will believe that it is okay; and if their flesh already struggles with things like that in a demonic light, their struggle will only worsen. In some cases, these struggles and Christian secular involvement can cause people to not just sin but lose their faith entirely; and as a result, the Christians responsible will be held accountable for it. Are you really willing to risk it? Proverbs 3:5- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Another major damaging viewpoint is the effect the lack of consecration has on children raised in a Christian household. Take Christian “holy Halloween” participants for example. There are parents who still allow their kids to wear costumes and go trick-or-treating for the sake of “fun memory-making,” in the wholesome belief that it will benefit their child, and in some cases, keep them from resenting the parent from “being too religiously strict”. But in reality, they are actually teaching their children that partaking in a little bit of secularism is okay; involving in one worldly custom is okay and won’t damage their Christian light. The issue with this is that the child is still young and his/her brain, personality, emotionality, and spirituality are still maturing. That one act of worldlyism is all it takes to set them up for spiritual failure, because it will never stay as one. That one is the devil’s foot in the door. As they grow older, they will find themselves exploring what other acts of worldly custom they can “get away with without damaging their faith.” This is the definition of a lukewarm Christian. Those “harmless” secular traditions you take with your children are actually teaching them and setting them up to be lukewarm Christians. And when they grow up, not only will their belief be set in stone as it was instituted before they were fully developed, but they may also despise true consecrated Christianity; they will scoff at other more disciplined Christians who refuse to do the things the carnal discovered and viewed to be harmless; they will sear their conscience to the voice of God. And I’m gonna say it: A good chunk of the reason there are so many lukewarm Christians today is because their parents were afraid of religion-induced resentment and retreated into a less disciplined Christian household. In most cases, lukewarm Christians come from lukewarm parenting. Proverbs 22:6 says that parents are to train up their children in God’s instruction, that is, His full instruction, (full counsel), not partial. Parents are not to provoke their children to anger by harsh worldly treatment, but to raise them in the discipline (consecration) and instruction (God’s words) that comes from the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). This anger (NKJV uses the term “wrath”) is not just the child’s response to ungodly treatment but can also be God’s wrath in response to undisciplined training. Parents are not to do anything in which would otherwise provoke the child to suffer God’s wrath when they are grown.   Proverbs 22:6- Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.   Ephesians 6:4- Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. Don't risk worldly customs. God created mankind after His own Image to be sacred to protect our spirit, escape deceit, and grow His Kingdom. A little rule of thumb: Good can be corrupted, but evil cannot be redeemed. Why? Because God creates and He is Good; Satan manipulates and he is evil.

Halloween is one of those holidays that pin Christians against each other. Half of us celebrate it “innocently,” or is it, “ignorantly,” while the few of us “hardcore” Christians don’t even entice the idea of celebrating it, the “religious” and “legalistic” type we are. So, I went ahead and did my own research on this spooky sensation of a holiday, and I’ve gotta say, I’m so thankful that my parents listened to the Holy Spirit on this one.   First of all, this post is NOT made to condemn anyone, especially my fellow Christians. Everything I post, I post with a sense of divine urgency, and I believe that because Jesus’ return is closer than ever, He is placing this urgency into people for a reason. The growing spirit of offense, I had to look past, because at least one person is going to read this and find Truth whether they act on it or not. Just like God’s intentions, I am posting this to warn you, because I love you. Even if you don’t agree with what I’m about to share, at least you had the chance to see it.   Cultural History   Halloween is currently America’s 3rd favorite holiday. It’s treated like Christmas in terms of hype, and I once came across an Instagram post claiming that based off the 2-day origin of “Hallows Eve” and “All Saints Day,” Halloween should have 2 days instead of one. Isn’t it scary that a holiday which celebrates fear and death wishes for a part 2? Versions of Halloween are practiced all over the world, yet every one of them celebrate the same themes: Death, fear, and darkness.   The tradition began in Ireland during the Celtic festival of Samhain , where people would light bonfires where they would give crop and animal sacrifices, and dress up in scary costumes in order to “ward off demons and evil spirits.” The people responsible for this tradition were the druids, aka, Celtic priests of the satanic type, who practiced all sorts of witchcraft, including human/children sacrifice. The reason why October 31 was chosen was because these druids believed that the day was somehow special, but for whatever spiritual reason, they were able to “communicate with the dead” (necromancy) and “predict the future” (fortune telling) more easily on that day (due to heightened demonic activity). So, October 31 was turned into a religious satanic tradition and placed on the Wiccan calendar (The Wiccan calendar’s major seasonal festivals ‘Sabbats’ are based on periods of high demonic activity. October 31 st  is the highest date of the year). Halloween is a pagan holiday and notoriously so. It is literally the holiday birthed from demons and witchcraft. This should be our first obvious red flag.   Keep in mind that ANY and ALL cultures that worship anything other than the One True God are considered pagan. This includes other gods or “spirits,” animals, nature, elements, cosmic beings, etc. ALL personified or glorified forms that man has created to worship are demons and demonic spirits. This in turn means that any tradition, practice, or act that is done for the sake of these pagan cultures are considered a form of pagan worship (including acts which are not inherently witchcraft) and is considered sin in the eyes of God. This is seen and warned against multiple times in Scripture. Thousands of years later with an evolved form of worship makes NO exceptions to this rule of spirit. Just because Halloween has been turned into a “fun” marketing tool in the US doesn’t mean it is no longer a form of pagan worship. In fact, it is Satan’s way of dumbing down his influence so that we no longer see it as harmful…even if he is in our face and we still think we can’t see him, “so, he’s not there.”   The druids “heard” from “the spirits” that if they dressed up in scary costumes and made animal (and human) sacrifices to “appease the gods,” they would be protected from demons and evil spirits (which is ironic since those same demons were the ones who gave them the idea. Gee, I wonder why). This included carving scary faces on pumpkins. Furthermore, things like the bonfires attracted bugs, which in turn, attracted bats, which the Celtics believed were a “bad omen.” Bats were the earliest symbol of death, and today, they still represent fear (and then Batman came out lol).   We know based on the Old Testament that when you attempt to “talk to the dead” and they wind up talking back...you aren’t actually talking to the dead. You are talking to demons, and this is called necromancy , which is mentioned in the Bible and strictly forbidden by God. In fact, the penalty is death. It is spiritually impossible to talk to someone’s spirit, because after death, a person’s spirit is either in Heaven or Hell. Their spirit is no longer on earth, not even for a few minutes (even if it did, you would not be able to sense them in any way. The human spirit does not have physical jurisdiction once it has been separated from the physical body, because it was made by God and meant to return to Him in Heaven; unless the person did not know his Maker). The only spirits you can talk to, who are actually down here on earth are the devil and his demons, because that’s where God put them and gave them jurisdiction (meaning they have the power to disrupt physical and human senses). And these spirits are more than capable of mimicking the spirits of deceased humans (especially ones who did not know God). But you will only know this if you remember how Lucifer and a-third of the angels were cast down here in the first place! That being said, who do you think those druids were talking to when they “came up” with those traditions? Those demons weren’t telling them ways to keep them away. Why would they do that? They were telling them ways to invite them in! And it wasn’t just the druids in Ireland either! Demons won’t just go after one culture. They will go after every culture they possibly can! And what do you think happens when those cultures blend into America, aka, the land of free speech and religion, the “melting pot” of ethnicity and religion? You get a blend of pagan cultures that eventually affect the Christians just like Solomon’s pagan wives affected him to begin worshiping other gods (his wives’ gods). But it’s all just supposed to be “fun tradition” right?   The rest of the “fun” activities we participate in, acknowledge other false gods. Rome’s  version of Halloween, “Faralia,” is where we get bobbing for apples. This acknowledges their goddess of fruit. The British  invented trick-or-treating. In representation of wandering spirits going door to door in attempt to terrorize the living, we go door to door for candy (“to make the ghosts go away”). “But it’s just bobbing for apples!” The action is still dedicated to a false god, aka, a demon. This should be your second red flag.   Halloween around the world   While most of the world celebrates the American version of Halloween in their own way on October 31 st , some parts of the world have their own version that still holds to ancient tradition.   Mexico  has their version of Halloween, called Dia De Los Muertos, “Day of the Dead,” on November 1 st  and 2 nd , where they pay their respects to the dead. As respectful as it sounds, it goes deeper, and its roots are no lighter than American Halloween’s darkness. In terms of respect, they worship the dead instead of God, and Satan is the bringer of death.   Asia  has the “Hungry Ghost Festival,” which is a month-long period in the lunar calendar (typically between July and August) when the gates of hell are believed to open, allowing spirits (demons) to visit the living. Knowing the necromancy is the conversing with demons, Asian tradition pairs well with their cultural astrological witchcraft, ancestral worship, and religion. Citizens give offerings to demons, visit graves to speak to the dead, float lanterns on water to “guide spirits,” and perform ceremonies. These traditions are done for the similar reason to “ensure spirits don’t cause trouble” or ward them off. All Asian festivals are part of their lunar calendar (moon worship) just as Wiccans and true pagans have the Wiccan calendar and revolve around witchcraft and false god worship.   Not India  directly, but the Hindus, celebrate Diwali, the “Festival of Lights”; the date varies, but it sometimes lands on October 31 st , in which they celebrate both holidays simultaneously. Of the many Hindu gods, Diwali is supposedly a very spiritual holiday, dedicated to lights, which symbolize Dharma over Adharma (two gods), light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, etc. Ironically, the gods they worship are demons and therefore, darkness, evil, and cause ignorance, the three things they claim to celebrate defeat. This holiday also revolves around false god worship and some rituals in Hindu witchcraft.   The Celtic European  Samhain Festival was never absolved. It is part of the Wiccan calendar. People still celebrate it as the ancients did, and no, it’s not something celebrated overseas. Celtic witches and warlocks live in America, and they will educate you on the “harmless” things the American holiday has adopted into its culture. They are true Satan worshipers, and they do the same “fun” things Americans do! Only, they know just what they are doing on a spiritual level; And they do it on purpose. So why should we???   What happens when you join?   Ex Satanist Riaan Swiegelaar had something to say about this that I thought was very eye-opening. In one of his podcast videos with Ryan Miller, he says this:   “The truth about Halloween. Halloween is the highest day on the satanic calendar. It is the most probably important day on the satanic calendar. It’s considered a high day. It is also the night of the year where there is the most human sacrifice on the whole planet. So, if we look at it in a—let’s call it a ‘popular culture’ aspect first. So, many people think Halloween is about candy and it’s about dress up, but they don’t question the meaning behind it. So, let’s say for instance, in a neighborhood, or [an] area; there’s houses [and] there’s homes that celebrate Halloween where they put up the decorations and they do the pumpkins and they do the candles and the candy, those things, right? And it’s fun—let’s say in a neighborhood there is houses that do that; So, [now] that whole perimeter becomes one big satanic ritual for that whole neighborhood. So, I’m saying that in a neighborhood or [an] area perimeter where there [are] a few homes, that is already set up as, in terms of a hotspot for demonic activity. And anybody whether they’re Christian or non-Christian that have open doors that moves or lives in a neighborhood like that will be affected. That’s what I’m saying. So [what we do as Christians], firstly, we make sure that we are in righteous standing with God, that we do not have any hidden sin or open doors in our life, that we are in a righteous covenant with Him. So, if we [as Christians] can get there, that is a very good place to start. And then it is about praying—like, being in serious prayer that people who celebrate Halloween, whether they speak being a satanist or an atheist or someone having fun, that whilst they’re doing that, that they will actually have a true encounter with Christ.” The warning of the witches What’s mind-blowing to me is that Satan doesn’t hide from Christians anymore and they’re still ignorant. I didn’t say blind, I said ignorant. They can very much see it, but they’re choosing not to see it, like “maybe if we can’t see Satan then Satan can’t see us.” It's staring them blue in the face, and they’ve just decided not to see it and still say it’s not there. Halloween is a great example, but this goes for all things the devil hides in that Christians take for granted, not just the holiday. My social media feed is all of a sudden, blowing up with actual witches and Satanists who legitimately found Jesus; Not just Salvation but all the advanced steps that come with it. They used to listen to demons and now they listen to the Holy Spirit—complete 180, it’s amazing. And some of the first things they warn people about is Halloween. It doesn’t even need to be that time of year for them to warn people. Witches and people who practice textbook witchcraft are closer to the devil than we are as Christians still capable of sin. Not only were they ignorant, but in willing rebellion and rejection of Jesus. They literally converse with Satan and demons on a regular basis before having an encounter with Jesus and Him telling them the Truth; which means that those demons literally told them how they work and where they hide, and where the danger is. And once they knew, it's so important to them now that they've experienced it on a spiritual level, they’re going and warning and telling people all of Satan’s hiding places. They’re literally giving Christians a cheat sheet. It’s as if you were talking directly to Satan himself. He’s not lying anymore—he’s telling you to your face, “this is where I am, this is where the danger and the evil is, and this is how I feed it to people and trick people into falling for it.” And having said that to your face, imagine your response back to him as a Christian is, “Nah. That’s now how you work. That’s not how the devil works.” They claim to have a relationship with God and read their Bibles and go to church and worship God, but then they still treat uncomfortable truth like it doesn't exist. They know that it will be more uncomfortable to acknowledge it and change, so instead they ignore it. Not only do they ignore it, but they use their Christianity as a safety net to justify it. This is pride. This is rebellion. This is carnal Christianity. This is lukewarm. Just because you aren't a lukewarm Christian doesn't mean you will never deal with lukewarm situations in which you fail. All of a sudden, they act like they know the devil more than God does and tells us about it in His own Word. They act like they're suddenly omniscient like God and like we're impervious to Satan's attacks even after reading the Scriptures that say we clearly aren't! How ignorant can you be? This is exactly why Satan doesn’t hide himself anymore. He used to hide, and he would have to be extra crafty because heaven-forbid “there could be Christians around who actually listen and obey God, and they’ll sense me and they’ll actually do something about it.” He doesn’t need to do that anymore! Today, Christians are just as ignorant to him as unbelievers are, and I don’t mean the actual clueless type. He could literally appear in front of a self-proclaimed Christian without a disguise, put on a show, and the Christian would be like, “Yeah, okay. You look harmless.” And Satan would be like, “I’m literally the devil.” And the Christian would be like, “Yeah right. I’m a Christian, I think I would know.” And these Christians who think Halloween can be harmless—there’s 2 types of them and the supposedly better one is actually worse off spiritually than the more obvious one. It's like soda versus diet soda where scientists are discovering that the diet version is actually more harmful. There’s the one Christian who doesn’t care and does what everyone else does—scary decorations, music, carving pumpkins, costumes, candy, whatever. And then there’s the one who tries to make it as harmless as possible, but there still clearly involved. I like to call them diet Christians. "Oh, we don’t use scary decorations. We don’t dress in scary costumes. We wear harmless costumes or Bible characters. We just carve pumpkins and give out candy, we just go trick-or-treating, we just, we just, we just…” We just participate with darkness, justify it because everyone else is doing it, and slap a Christian label on it to let God know we’re still on His side. Meanwhile, God’s up in Heaven shaking His head and going, “Guys, what do you think you’re doing?” Y’know what that’s called, when you try to call evil good and good evil, try to say that darkness is light and light is darkness: Blaspheme. And to willingly involve in something that isn't God? Idolatry . There is no justification for either. At least the ones who are hardcore Christian Halloween celebrators leave the darkness as it is. To try and twist darkness to make it look like light is exactly what Satan does, and it got him kicked out of Heaven. It got him kicked out of God’s presence. And if you still think you can invite Jesus into your home while your house is decorated in darkness; while you’re actively participating in practices that were birthed by demons. You’ve already made it known that Jesus is not welcome. He’s not gonna come into a house that’s coated in symbols of hell; and yeah, that includes your harmless little minion inflatable. The demons don’t care what it looks like. They only care about your involvement. If you think you’re just gonna stroll through the gates of Heaven after mimicking what Satan did. If you make it, you’ll be judged. And then there’s the people who won’t even make it at all. And it doesn’t matter how harmless you tried to make it. You’re not to be involved. Period. Not even the tiniest bit. It’s like finding a demon out in the woods and taking it home to be your pet. And your neighbors are warning you what it is and you're trying so hard to justify it. You claim you can tame it, cover it in Christian symbolism and take him to church with you. You can dress the wolf in sheep's clothing and tell yourself he won't eat you even though you're a sheep. And the neighbors will reveal to you that another Christian friend of there's also adopted a pet demon and he's not doing well. He's depressed and anxious and dealing with self-harm. And you tell them that it won't happen to you, because you're a better Christian than him. And then a few years later, the neighbors return and just as they warned, you're just like the friend who made the same mistake and tried to justify it. But do you yield? No. You tell them it's not the demon's fault. You just need to go on a cleanse, cut sugar, work out, and take anti-depressants. And they go into denial about the spiritual attacks that seemingly came out of nowhere, because they don’t want to listen to the Holy Spirit telling them that it came from an unholy holiday they tried to make holy. That’s not how that works. Last I checked, God calls the shots on what is clean versus unclean, not us. Light doesn’t have fellowship with darkness, not even a little bit, not even a flirt once a year. Not even a carefully made crack in the door that you honestly believe Satan can’t fit through. All it takes is his foot. All it takes is one act of practice, all it takes it one day, one evening. And when he gets his boot in there, you won’t be able to close the door anymore. You can’t even push him out. Only an act of repentance will have God pull his foot out of the door and shut it again. You can’t do that by yourself and it’s not because God doesn’t want to help you. To abandon your vigilance, leave Satan a foothold, and receive no protection from God is spiritual law. When you mess up, God isn’t going to stop you because He can’t mess with your free will. By His own law, He cannot come and rescue you, protect you, or heal you without your repentance. You cannot blame God for your own ignorance. So, if you’re going to participate in Halloween’s practices, you should prepare for demonic influence no matter how great of a Christian you think you are. God’s not going to protect you from it. He’ll warn you, but He’s not going to interfere. God makes it very clear that when you adopt the customs of the world, no matter how you try to disguise it as holy, you will reap what you sow, and it won’t be by the means of how you labeled it. Darkness is still darkness.   What about “All Saints Day?”   When the druids began this tradition, the Popes did not like this, because it’s obviously pagan, right? So, what did they do? They knew they couldn’t “make” them do something they didn’t want to do. So instead, they created a new holiday to try and cover it up. Rather than witchcraft and fear, the focus would be on Saints who had died (still death). On this day, November 1 would be known as “All Saints Day,” while November 2 was reserved to pray for the souls of the dead. Here’s the problem. The Popes in question were not Christian. If anything, they were just as pagan as the pagans they sought to override. They were Catholic (Not the same and not the nice kind of catholic!). The only real difference? The druids were religious for Satan. The Popes were religious for Mary and the power of the church. Jesus still isn’t here.   And what’s more? Hebrews 9:27 and Luke 16:19-31 literally make known that we shouldn’t be praying for the dead. It’s as bad as sacrificing animals even after Jesus died and resurrected. Now that it’s no longer necessary, it’s been given to the “other side.” Praying on behalf of the dead is a form of witchcraft. Wow! Even if we did manage to celebrate All Saints Day, it would still be pagan! The irony!   Long story short, “All Saints Day” never happened. It may have at one point, but it didn’t last long. It eventually fell out of favor and became non-existent (especially after the Popes died off and the new generations didn’t care enough to keep it in tradition on behalf of their pagan ancestors). So, we’ve already defaulted back to the original pagan holiday and all of its traditions. This should be your third red flag.   The spiritual truth   When people (Christians and non-Christians) find out my family and I don’t celebrate Halloween, I typically get the same remarks:   “You’re taking your relationship with God way too seriously.” “Everyone’s relationship with God is different.” “Celebrating a holiday isn’t a sin.” "You're over-exaggerating." “I have a spiritual filter.” "It's not that demonic." “I don’t dress up in scary costumes and/or decorate my house.” “I don’t carve scary faces on my pumpkins.” “I’m not worshiping a false god for doing that, get real.” “I just dress up and go trick-or-treating, nothing else.” “Everyone else is doing it and they’re fine.” “I don’t do it to celebrate death or anything like that.” “Halloween isn’t scary.” “I go trick-or-treating with my kids so they can have fun.” “I do it to have fun with my friends.” “Satan didn’t make Halloween, we did.” “Oh yeah, well Christmas used to be a pagan holiday too and you celebrate it, so I can celebrate Halloween, and you’re a hypocrite.” “This is a free country; free religion; free speech, and that includes Christians.”“You’re a legalistic Christian/Pharisee/Religious/etc.”   When I exclusively ask my fellow Christian friends why they celebrate Halloween, I typically get the same answer: “We are celebrating ‘All Saints Day.’ It’s a Christian holiday, you know.” Is it now? Then why does it celebrate fear, horror, death, darkness, witchcraft, etc.: Literally everything the Bible stands and warns against? You can’t use “what could have been” as justification for what clearly isn’t. All Saint’s Day never happened. So, you’re celebrating a pagan holiday, because at one point, they tried to…not make it a pagan holiday? And you’re still doing what the Popes tried to outlaw. Where’s the logic in that?   I recently learned from a good friend and mentor of mine that the same thing that tried and failed to happen on Halloween did successfully happen on holidays like Christmas and Easter. The truth is, Jesus wasn’t born on December 25 (I know you can’t read sarcasm, so…that was sarcastic). Newer evidence shows that Jesus was actually born in the spring. The reason Christmas landed in December was? You got it. To cover up another pagan holiday (I haven’t looked up which one). Here’s the thing: At least Christmas is and always was about Jesus’ birth (CHRIST-mas) and Easter is and always was about Jesus’ death and resurrection. You can’t paganize truth. All you can do is slap a Santa and a bunny sticker on it. You can make up myths and fairytales for the holiday to symbolize and cover up Jesus like the Popes tried to do. You can do whatever you want to try and pull the focus away from Jesus or take Him out of it. But truth, real truth, doesn't change. It will always be there. It can't be eliminated. At that point, it doesn’t matter what date we chose to celebrate these dates in time. I love Jesus. I’m celebrating Him and Santa can go suck an ice-cycle! Even more, the traditions we do on Christmas aren’t originally pagan like people are saying these days. Trees, specifically coniferous trees represent eternal life. Christmas lights represent our “lights so shine” as Christians spreading His love. Red stands for His blood, and green stands for life. Best holiday ever besides Resurrection Day!   So, what does God officially say about this?   Just because some of the traditions have evolved does NOT mean the spiritual consequences have been lifted! We now know that the druids conversed with spirits in order to create this holiday and some of its traditions. The problem is, demons aren’t scared. They’re ATTRACTED. When you cover yourself and your house with demonic symbolism, things which represent the very evils the Bible warns against, how could you possibly expect to be impervious from Satan’s attacks? You’re joining with the darkness and inviting his influence! Provoke evil and you will receive evil, whether it be physically, mentally, or spiritually! “But it’s not even a scary costume!” You’re still involved. “But it’s just candy!” You’re still involved. “But I’m not doing all the demonic stuff!” You’re still involved! “But it’s not even a scary or demonic decoration!” You’re still involved. The demons don’t care how whimsical it looks! They already found a way to pervert the rainbow! You don’t think they’ll turn away from your cute little Minion inflatable on the lawn carrying a candy bucket? If anything, making it whimsical and fun is even scarier. Satan’s after your kids! He’s poisoning the minds of children early, so when they grow up, they’ll be ignorant and easy targets for his attacks! It doesn’t matter how you “Christianize” it, or how much you deconstruct and ignore the meanings behind the seemingly fun traditions! It will never take away from the fact that it has been dedicated to the wrong side, and from the very beginning! Halloween is a worldly secular Holiday and always has been. “But everyone else celebrates it.” That is exactly what the devil wants to hear! If he could influence King Solomon, aka, the wisest Israelite king who conversed with God Himself regularly, to worship the demons of his wives, you bet he did the same thing to one nation under God . You are falling right into the flesh trap! The world’s “normal” is exactly what we as Christians are trying to avoid here! How is your light going to shine to the lost when you celebrate a holiday based on darkness?   When you visualize your partake in darkness, it ruins your witness. Unbelievers are going to see you and your house and ask why. Even unbelievers question why Christians whose lives are to be sacred as it demands in the Bible are celebrating a holiday birthed by Satan. And if they are weak, they will use it as justification to copy you even if they find Jesus! Your fruit as a Christian will be tainted! And that’s just the unbelievers. True Satanists and those who practice witchcraft whereas October 31 st  is the highest night of demonic activity of the year, they are counting on both unbelieving blindness and Christian ignorance to fuel the kingdom of darkness. If you truly believe that Halloween isn’t a threat to your spirit, you can ask anyone who practices witchcraft, and they will tell you it’s real! Demons don’t care that you are a Christian. If they see you celebrating what their master created, they see everything you do to participate as an invitation. It is the one night a year (if not month depending on when you put up your decorations) that they will catch you with your Armor of God OFF and your Shield of Faith DOWN. And that one time is all it will take for Satan to get a foothold. Your 364 days of spiritual protection? Obsolete . You think demons aren’t that smart? If they see you participate every year, they won’t care how many times you ward them off with prayer. They know exactly when to get you; and they’ve got all eternity! Demons are more patient at an opportunity to attack than we are at the DMV. If that doesn’t tell you to ask God for patience, then I don’t know what will!   You know how we sing that song? “Even when we don’t see it, He’s working. Even when we don’t feel it, He’s working. You never stop. You never stop working.” You know that goes the same way for the devil, right? You don’t always see and feel Satan working—you don’t always sense a spiritual attack coming, do you? But he is! Just like God is always moving and working and protecting and healing and providing, Satan is just as busy setting traps! And while you’re off in your costume getting candy, you can’t see it or feel it—why? You’re having fun. But that doesn’t mean the devil isn’t working! If anything, he’s got you right where he wants you, doing what? Celebrating the very holiday HE CREATED. If that’s the trap, it worked! Halloween isn’t a holiday to be celebrating if you are a follower of Christ. The spiritual influence is very real. It’s not a joke.   All of this to say, just because unbelievers celebrate Christian-based holidays like Christmas and Easter does NOT mean Christians should, in return, celebrate devil-based holidays. It’s hypocritical. You cannot be fully submitted to God 364 days a year and allow for 1 day of un-submission. You will be judged for it when you die (and no, you won’t be able to talk to anyone down here when you do). "I won't celebrate what Jesus died to defeat and the Father continues to defeat. We are made in His image and likeness, and we are called to act like Christ, so why would we do this? Why would we ruin our witness of light by celebrating darkness? You cannot Christianize darkness. I will not celebrate anything that belongs to Satan” —Anonymous The line between legalism and consecration   This line can be fine, but it’s still there. It all comes down to heart posture and conscience. It’s what the Apostle Paul talked about in the book of Acts (food dedicated to idols). It’s also the reason why it’s always good to ask the Holy Spirit what we’re allowed to do versus what we aren’t, cos He’s not a boring God. His job isn’t to consecrate us so far that we have no life and no creativity. I’ve made known what practices are strictly dedicated to the pagan mindset, so here’s a sigh of relief.   There are some fall-related practices that are not strictly related to Halloween but wound up in its lineup anyway. Take pumpkin carving for example. We can’t say that the Celtics of ancient Ireland were the first group to carve anything into a vegetable. In fact, upon doing more research, I found that the Celtics celebrating the Samhain festival didn’t even use pumpkins. Now, on behalf of the ancient tradition and what America turned it into, they probably grow and use pumpkins now; but back in the 8 th  century BCE paired with the fact that they were a poor and somewhat isolated civilization, they didn’t have pumpkins. They had turnips and potatoes. Also note that they didn’t carve random things into these veggies. They strictly carved scary faces as to “ward off evil spirits.” Pumpkin-carving in the form of today’s jack-o-lanterns was invented by the Americas when Irish and Scottish immigrants moved there in the 19 th  century. Yes, you’re reading that right; Halloween has only been an American holiday for about 200+ years, younger than we have existed as a nation. These immigrants noted how bountiful American colonies were in pumpkins during the fall. They also realized that pumpkins were so much easier to carve into than turnips and potatoes. So, the jack-o-lantern was born. Here’s where it gets tricky:   Jack-o-lanterns are the pagan-birthed version of pumpkin carving. Despite the veggie switch, the ritual remains the same and should be thoroughly avoided. However, this doesn’t mean simply taking a knife to a pumpkin is a sin. As a Christian, that would be considered legalism. The original ritual as to stir demonic activity was not the act of taking a knife to a vegetable; it was both the heart posture, and the finished pieces they carved that sent a purposeful spiritual message. It is the act of willingly carving fear or a work of art that invokes darkness that is the pagan practice. But carving things which are not of darkness, like hearts or stars or Jesus’ cross, is not. There’s another big however : Although I believe that pumpkin carving in itself is not a sin, much less involving in the pagan practices of Halloween, there are two major things to consider. One, there are boundaries and those boundaries need to be taken seriously. I’m talking about your heart posture. No matter what you carve into a pumpkin, doing it as a fun activity for the season and doing it for Halloween are two different things. Secondly, not every heart is the same. Even people who carve harmless things into pumpkins still maintain the intentions of the “holiday spirit.” In a nutshell, to safely engage in pumpkin carving, one must have a heart posture leaned towards God only. The act must be in celebration of God’s season and not the devil’s holiday. And you must not carve anything that should invoke fear or darkness. Anything outside of these rules is where the Holy Spirit will start nudging on you. I as the author, am not even exempt from this.   My family used to partake in pumpkin carving. No, we never carved scary faces or anything, but throughout the years, my sister and I began to feel a sense of nudging to not carve pumpkins anymore. We wondered why and we were answered. Even as Christians who were vigilant, our intentions weren’t holy. We were carving pumpkins because everyone else was, everyone else who did it for the wrong reasons. We were blindly basing our innocence off perversion and didn’t know. In fact, when my sister and I were small and spiritually immature, we always asked our parents why we weren’t allowed to celebrate Halloween even to the extent of no costumes, no trick-or-treating, and no parties. We saw certain things as harmless, and we wanted to participate. We didn’t understand until our faith grew up and when it did, we instantly wanted nothing to do with it. But things like pumpkin carving still lingered, because we felt left out and “we can always Christianize it.” Since then, we haven’t carved pumpkins. We partake in universal autumn festivities like the pumpkin patch and apple cider; we even buy pumpkins for decoration, but we don’t carve them. I’d like to think that the practice has become so associated with the holiday that any form of it may no longer be innocent. It’s like drinking alcohol as a Christian. In itself it’s not a sin…until it causes others to stumble. But all souls are different, and you can’t make any assumptions, not even on yourself; because God is the only being in the entire universe who can read your thoughts and your heart. So, before you decide to push past this warning and go carve a pumpkin in light of the season, ask the Holy Spirit permission; because I the author, don’t know your heart, nor can I read your thoughts. And neither can anyone else. Knowing this, I do know that pumpkin carving no matter the personal intentions has been so heavily known and associated with Halloween, that no one will know why you're doing it. They can't read your intentions, only God can. So, when they see your carved pumpkins sitting on the curb or by your front door, it's most likely a sign that you're involved in Halloween one way or another. They aren't going to see Christian consecration. They're going to see secular custom; and it doesn't matter what you carved. In fact, for those of you who carve Christian or harmless things into your pumpkins, it still won't make a difference. If anything, they will think you're one of those Christians who try to make a holy version of Halloween and you're still involved in it; and they will use this to justify their own celebration. This is why my family and I stopped. Because the closer we are to Christ's return, the more extreme Christians have to get in their consecration, because so many things are being given over to the darkness.   Trunk-or-Treating Truth   This was brought to my attention to some viewers, and it needed to be. As I said before, this is not made to condemn anyone, and heaven-forbid, it’s not to condemn any churches either! I’m simply giving you all a loving heads up!   What is “Trunk-Or-Treating?”   Trunk-or-treating is a Halloween tradition that some churches do. It is exactly how it sounds. It’s the same idea as trick-or-treating, but rather than kids going from house to house for candy, a group (church group) will (sometimes) decorate their cars for Halloween, gather and park in a central location, such as the parking lot of the church, and kids wearing costumes go from car to car gathering candy. The reason churches do this is to give children and families, particularly families dealing with poverty or who can’t afford costumes or candy, can take their kids trick-or-treating in an ideal and safe location where they can have fun in a friendly environment. It sounds wonderful and loving and Christian and perfect. Unfortunately, it’s also giving the idea that celebrating Halloween is okay “because it’s hosted by a church.”   Although there isn’t a history behind “church trick-or-treating” (that I could find), it’s pretty obvious that this generation, or at least the last 2 generations from the early to mid-2000s started it. Ironically, these are the generations who are prophesied about in the Bible, and who twist God's Word and live carnal lifestyles while still calling themselves Christian, so, no surprise there (not calling anyone or any church out).   Just because a worldly tradition is hosted by a church doesn’t mean it’s “okay” or that God suddenly approves of it. Remember, there are churches whose leaders are false preachers or those that preach a watered down and carnal gospel. Furthermore, just because your pastor allows trunk-or-treating doesn’t mean he’s a false teacher (if you’re offended, please read that again). As I mentioned in the previous post, Halloween is such a normalized holiday that even a handful of the Christian population believe it is okay to celebrate it, churches included. But everything above about Halloween still stands. Spiritually speaking, it’s not okay . If you remember, trick-or-treating was started by the British. The original tradition’s idea lies behind the “wandering spirits” aspect. Children dressing in costumes represent ghosts and evil spirits going door to door to terrorize the living, while parents giving out candy represent villagers who are trying to fend off these spirits by giving them treats. Trunk-or-treating is the same aspect, and decorating your car in the same clothes of darkness contributes to this folly. Once again, you are not “warding off evil spirits” when you decorate yourself or your vehicle in the very things demons are attracted to. The children may be physically safe, but they aren’t spiritually safe (which is ironic when this takes place in the parking lot of a church, aka, a house which was made to invite light in, not darkness).   “A letter to these churches: Why are you inviting the devil into God’s house once a year? Why are you harmonizing with darkness once a year after inviting God in the other 52 Sundays of the year? Why are you defiling God’s house on purpose? And why are you ignoring the Holy Spirit who is convicting you of this?” —Anonymous   A letter to the congregation of these churches: I cannot stop the spirit of offense from angering you, but if your church teaches all the knowledge of the power of Jesus Name, and the power of the Holy Spirit and Salvation, and how to protect you and your home from Satan’s attacks, then invites these same demons into God’s sacred house once a year, you should probably find another home church. Not that what he/she said about Jesus Name or the Holy Spirit was wrong (maybe), but if he/she is willing to cast all of that aside on purpose, serve God 364 days a year, then worship the world on that 1 missing day, that isn’t dedication, nor is he/she fully committed, or teaching you as such. All of the truth they speak means nothing when carnality has tainted it. Get out of there while you still can.   Earlier, I said this: “You can’t paganize truth. All you can do is put a sticker on it.” This goes the same way for demonic ownership. Just as you can’t paganize God’s original truth, you cannot Christianize what was originally Satan’s. All you can do is put a Christian sticker on it.  You can’t put a sticker over a lie and call it truth, so why would you do the same to a holiday original created by the devil???   So, to all the churches who participate in trunk-or-treating. We know why you do it, so bless your souls, but it still goes against what your church stands for and what God stands for. If you want to protect the sanctification of the house you built for God and the people's spirits who attend it, please do away with this demonic worldly tradition. There are plenty of other ways for kids and families to have fun and stay spiritually safe than copying the world and calling it “Christian.” And if you need help with ideas, ask the Holy Spirit! Astrology is one of the biggest involvements of the 21 st  century and is no longer restricted to the New Age, legitimate witchcraft, pseudoscience, culture, or religion. It is become an afterthought “fun” way to advertise identity but has also become a way to self-control life whether individuals truly believe in its power or not. Either way, God warns against it, and you should also; and just because you don’t believe in it doesn’t mean you are spiritually safe from even dabbling in it like you may in other forms of witchcraft. Just because you don’t take a certain practice seriously doesn’t mean the demonic behind it will leave you alone. They will do whatever it takes for you to strengthen your influence and pull you away from God. So, here is it: the truth behind astrology. History According to the Oxford dictionary, astrology  is “the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.” The Ai overview defines astrology as “a pseudoscience that claims celestial bodies—like planets, the sun, and moon—influence human lives and events, and it uses the positions of these bodies at a person’s birth to make predictions and understand personality.” Horoscopes  are the specific predictions tailor-made to an individual, based on these astrological practices. This is a form of fortune-telling and in turn, is a form of witchcraft. The Zodiac is the cosmic belt of starts which makes up the 12 celestial formations (signs) in which astrology is choreographed from. They are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The belt itself is undoubtedly real, but the reason for its creation by God was not to worship or make up fake spiritual science regarding to it (more on that later). To put it simply, the belt of stars we call the “Ecliptic belt,” God arranged the stars and planets specifically so that we had visible proof of the four seasons (as well as time and position). He also hung them specifically for our awesome gaze. Satan’s job is to steal, kill, and destroy, so as his corrupt nature entails, he found a way to pervert it for his own glory. Astrology is recognized as a form of divination of the pseudoscientific dating back to Biblical Scripture, mainly ancient Babylon and Greece; but each time the Israelites claimed a new land or turned from God, God’s verbal warnings towards Israel or the foreign lands involved with them, almost always included the pagan “detestable” and “abominable” practices of astrology. God condemns the practice and belief of it as it is a form of witchcraft and false worship of the created instead of the Creator. It is a form of idolatry. God also acknowledges that when you worship anything other than Him, you are worshiping demonic spirits, and these spirits will carry on the delusion that the counterfeit worship is real by interfering with natural affairs as it is their jurisdiction. Any form of supernatural interference with the natural world, unless revealed by God, is an act of the enemy, that is the devil and his demons.   Astrology around the world/ more than just cosmic worship Astrology goes deeper than simple cosmic/celestial worship of the planets, sun, moon, and stars. It also includes the worship of animals, particularly, the animals in which the stars create, which in turn, became the symbolic pictures of the signs. It also worships the physical body. In western culture, it revolves around the sun in the form of a solar calendar. In eastern culture, it revolves around the moon in the form of a lunar calendar. In traditional western  astrology, not all 12 signs are animals, but a few are still included. They include: Goat, Ram, Fish, Bull, Crab, Lion, and Scorpion. The non-animal symbols are: the water bearer, twins, a virgin, an ancient scale, and an archer. Despite the mixture of symbol versus animal, all 12 represent a false god. These gods come from ancient Babylon and Greece (and when you’re messing with the spirit realm, Greek mythology is not actually mythology. The stories may be made up, but demons and their influence is not. In fact, the devil is counting on you to believe it’s all a fantasy). Western astrology also has connections with the physical body in pertaining to an individual’s birth month. There are many different interpretations to this with different body parts, so here is one: January – Aquarius – calves (lower legs) February – Pisces – feet March – Aries – head (face, brain, mind, soul) April – Taurus – neck (strength; bridge from the mind to the heart) May – Gemini – arms (hands and shoulders) June – Cancer – stomach (belly, food, upper abdomen) July – Leo – heart (chest, breasts, emotion, spirit) August – Virgo – intestines (belly, middle abdomen) September – Libra – kidneys (hips, lower abdomen) October – Scorpio – genitals (and rear) November – Sagittarius – thighs (upper legs)    December – Capricorn – knees (middle legs) These parts of the body also connect to a specific cosmic being in medical astrology: January – Aquarius – calves (lower legs) – Uranus and Saturn February – Pisces – (feet) – Jupiter and Neptune   March – Aries – head (face, brain, mind, soul) – Mars and Venus April – Taurus – neck (strength; bridge from the mind to the heart) – Venus May – Gemini – arms (hands and shoulders) –  Moon June – Cancer – stomach (belly, food, upper abdomen) – Sun   July – Leo – heart (chest, breasts, emotion, spirit) - Mercury August – Virgo – intestines (belly, middle abdomen) - Mercury September – Libra – kidneys (hips, lower abdomen) - Mercury October – Scorpio – genitals (and rear) – Venus, Pluto, and Mars November – Sagittarius – thighs (upper legs) – Jupiter December – Capricorn – knees (middle legs) – Saturn Chinese  culture revolves heavily around the zodiac as seen by their Lunar calendar, a repeating 12-year cycle. This astrological worship revolves heavily around the moon, hence their “lunar” calendar. The annual Moon Festival held each year celebrates the current position of the lunar cycle. Its identity is placed annually instead of monthly, so each symbol is rotated every 12 years instead of 12 months. Every year becomes “the year of the…” and is followed by one of the 12 animal signs in the astrological belt. This cycle in order is as follows: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. Within each year, the designated animal becomes a sign of good luck. Just like traditional astrology, each animal is associated with a set of personality traits, and a person’s “zodiac animal” (in line with spirit animals) is determined by their birth year. They also have festivals which glorify the animal as well as their gods. This form of astrology is unique and does not include the Greek symbols, signs, and meanings. Traditional astrology (as seen monthly in the west) January – Aquarius – water bearer February – Pisces - fish March – Aries - ram April – Taurus - bull May – Gemini - twins June – Cancer - crab July – Leo - lion August – Virgo - virgin September – Libra - scales October – Scorpio - scorpion November – Sagittarius - archer December – Capricorn - goat Chinese astrology (as seen annually in the east) 2020 – Aquarius – Rat 2021 – Pisces - Ox 2022 – Aries - Tiger 2023 – Taurus - Rabbit 2024 – Gemini - Dragon 2025 – Cancer - Snake 2026 – Leo - Horse 2027 – Virgo - Goat 2028 – Libra - Monkey 2029 – Scorpio - Rooster 2030 – Sagittarius - Dog 2031 – Capricorn – Pig What does God say about it? When you place your identity in an astrology sign, you are making a pact with the demonic spirit of that sign. Every character trait assigned to that symbol, the demon will teach you through spiritual, and therefore invisible and undetectable, influence (even Christians who sear their conscience against the Holy Spirit). Even if you weren’t that person before, you will be. And once you’ve been conformed to the pact of that sign, they will lie to you and say that you were always like that, born like that (much like they do with all counterfeit identities away from God’s). It is direct perversion of Romans 12:2. We are not to be conformed to the customs of the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through Christ; and through this, we will act in a way that reveals God perfect and pleasing will. Satan has distorted this by the appealing nature of demonic worship through pseudoscience. And when you live in a world driven by physical rules where all forms of science are trusted as fact instead of the powers of darkness behind it, you live in a world of deceit (including your own). We are not to place our identity in anything outside of God and what He says about us and what we are and how we are to act. Our personalities are not birthed through the month and cosmic alignment in which we were born in. God did not design the cosmic realm for that reason. He designed it for us for two reasons: To help serve as visible signs for the recognition of seasons, and to use as a means to witness His glory through beautiful creation (Genesis 1:14 and Psalms 19:1); NOT to seek personal destiny and guidance in unreliable sources ordained by Satan’s darkness and not God’s light. People are using astrology as a means to control their life. It controls their personality, tells them how to act, where to find a job, who to cling to or reject, and even who to marry, even if the person is against God’s will. In each circumstance, they are in direct rebellion against God whether they know it or not. Genesis 1:14- And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years… Psalms 19:1- The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalms 147:4- He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Genesis 1:4- God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. Our personality traits were not given to us by chance any more than our gender. They are unique gifts God instilled in us to be a witness and a light. All personality traits have a purpose even ones that the world sees as negative (and I’m not talking about traits birthed by pride). They are just as important as our visible gifts and talents. To reject your God-given personality for a counterfeit run by the devil hidden behind the curtain of pseudoscience and witchcraft is to reject your witness. It is to reject your identity in Christ, and ultimately, it is to reject the glory for God that would have been. And trust me when I tell you, you really don’t want to go there. Scripture makes it clear what we should believe in and what we should not. God even included why worshipping entities other than Him will not benefit us and even lead us to eternal destruction. Deuteronomy warns us against worshipping and putting our trust in celestial bodies. When He placed all the nations of the earth under heaven, He was referring to the observable universe in which He created, but not to be worshipped, because the universe did not create us: The Lord created the universe and placed us inside of it for His glory. In the book of Isaiah, God had the prophet Isaiah warn Israel’s officials what would happen if they practiced divination and astrology; that it is worthless and they will suffer God’s wrath in the form of fire, and not the comforting type of fire they stand against during the colder months. God had the prophet, Jeremiah do the same thing, directly warning against the practices of foreign nations. Both Israel as God’s chosen nation, and all Gentiles (us) who wish to belong to God, you are required to consecrate yourself (Romans 12:1-2). This means to separate yourself from the world’s customs (and if you’re a new Christian, to allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to follow Him, no longer letting the world teach you how to live). The prevalence of ALL secular norms are to be avoided. The reason the world’s customs are so normal is because Satan is the one who runs it; but for those of us who acknowledge that we have a Creator and Jesus is the only way to true life, we must also acknowledge that living IN the physical world run by darkness does not mean we are to live OF the world. Today, witchcraft (a close if not tie with sexual immorality) is one of the highest hidden norms of the 21 st  century. People practice it ignorantly as common as daily ritual. As Christians, we are to discern what is of the darkness, stay away from it, and warn others about it so they don’t fall into Satan’s spiritual traps. Astrology in Babylon is recorded in the Bible, the book of Daniel. Daniel was trained and even served King Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel was taken to Babylon in 605 BC during the 3 rd  year of King Jahoiakim’s reign in Judah. Today, Babylon has become a term, often spoken as a euphemism for obvious sinful and otherwise pagan behavior. Even in the book of Revelation, “Babylon symbolizes a corrupt global system of power, wealth, and false religion, embodied by the “whore of Babylon” and a future city” (future civilizations fallen into the sinful times of Noah such as the world is today). This should be proof that anything practiced today that has any ties with ancient Babylon as described in the Bible should be avoided, especially by Christians. In Daniel chapter 2, King Nezzer (Veggie Tales slang for Nebuchadnezzar) has a dream in which the officials of his court who were referred to as “astrologers” (and who also practiced other forms of divination and witchcraft) cannot interpret his dream. This is because Satan, the author of witchcraft, is not all powerful. In fact, King Nezzer was so upset that he had all of them executed. When Daniel heard it, he decided to ask God to interpret the dream since the court’s witchcraft had failed (coincidence, I think not). As a result, God answers Daniel’s prayer and Daniel interprets the king’s dream correctly and confidently, rendering the work of the dead officials’ witchcraft, useless. As a result, King Nezzar proclaimed, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery” (Daniel 2:47b). God used the downfall of astrology to reveal His true glory to a pagan king. Deuteronomy 4:19- And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the  Lord  your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven. Isaiah 47:13-14- All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely, they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. These are not coals for warmth; this is not a fire to sit by. Jeremiah 10:2- This is what the Lord says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them. Daniel 2:1-4- In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled, and he could not sleep.   So, the king summoned the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers to tell him what he had dreamed. When they came in and stood before the king,   he said to them, “I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.” Then the astrologers answered the king; “May the king live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will interpret it.” Conclusion Astrology, horoscopes, the zodiac, and everything associated with it is witchcraft. It is false god worship—idolatry. We are not to put our trust in the alignment of the cosmos, nor are we to worship it and put our identity in it or obey it. Our trust, faith, worship, identity, and obedience, are all to be found in Christ our Lord. Anything outside of this is grounds for judgement. One of the most common arguments I see today in social media is the disbelief that God is a triune God; that the Holy Trinity, God three in One, is a heresy and a false truth. Their backings are one of many: That the Catholics made it up and their religion is full of heresies. “Catholics aren’t real Christians.” Others claim that if God really is three distinct persons in one, that means other gods exist, when God makes very clear He is the only One. There are even the extremists that say that Trinity believers are part of a cult, specifically dedicated to teaching false doctrine, wolves in sheep’s clothing, etc. I’d like to think some people don’t believe in the Trinity, because it’s too confusing and they are either afraid of believing in a heresy or are afraid of being wrong. Then again, some of these people are the same believers who say that women can’t preach in the church and that all rich and/or female pastors are automatically false prophets. It is in fact, a spirit of confusion caused by a direct misinterpretation of Scripture. And the irony? You could have gotten the correct interpretation by the 3rd person in the trinity, the Holy Spirit.   The anti-trinitarian belief is no more complexly explained than those who believe in the trinity. Anti-trinitarians believe in the existence of God the Father. They also believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that Salvation comes through Him. But they do not believe that Jesus is  God, nor do they believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit. They believe that although Jesus may be in the high places with the Father, He cannot be God or even be equal to God because of His limited existence while He was in human form; “If Jesus was God, He would have now and would have had while on earth, all the powers of God the Father.” They believe He is simply a mediator in high places, which is why He is still acknowledged and worshipped; But as far as God Himself, Jesus is not a part of Him to be worshipped as high as the Father. They believe there is only Father God and His Word, the Bible. Jesus is worshipped in a similar mindset to how Catholics worship Mary, as a holy and exalted human being with a divine connection to God the Father, even more so because He was perfect. They do believe that God speaks to people personally and through the Bible, but they don’t believe it is the Holy Spirit speaking, and all references the Bible makes of the Holy Spirit, they consider to be figures of speech.   The word Trinity means “the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead” (Britannica).   The Bible does in fact tell us that God is a “triune” God without using the word directly. God is Father in Philippians 1:2, Jesus is God in Titus 2:13, and the Holy Spirit is God in Acts 5:3-4. And these are just three examples out of a thousand. Even in the Scriptures which don’t specify God’s 3 parts, it is still heavily implied. In this article, I am going to break it down for you in 5 different areas of reason: Historically, scientifically, biblically, logically, and presently.   Historically: “The first recorded use of the Greek word [trinity] was by Theophilus of Antioch in about 170 [AD]” ( Wikipedia.org ), or 2nd century after Jesus’ death and resurrection. However, the end of the Bible itself was finished around 70AD, up to 100 years before the word “trinity” was first recorded and acknowledged as a word in Greek (which is the language the Bible was translated from). So, although the word “trinity” is not in the Bible directly, Theophilus of Antioch, the first official recorded user of the word, is in fact, in the Book of Luke where Luke writes Theo as a man of faith in Christ. “The Gospel of Luke was written with the intention of leading Theophilus, a lost man, to faith in Christ” (Dr. Ernest James, Union University). In Luke 1:3, Luke makes a note to Theophilus saying, “Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write an accurate account for you, most honorable Theophilus, so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.” Luke wrote another following note to Theophilus in Acts 1:1 just to make sure he understood what he was reading when he obtained the Scripture. And if you actually pay attention to what you read in the Book of Luke as you would the other Gospels, God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are all mentioned and made known that Jesus Himself and the Holy Spirit the Father gave his followers after Jesus’ death are both extensions of God Himself. Mentions of Jesus Christ (the Son) and the Holy Spirit are from then on taught by the Apostle Paul for the rest of the Bible, most notably in Acts, suggesting that even Paul believed in the Trinity.   The reason the word trinity isn’t in any translation of the Bible is because the English translations were directly translated from Greek. And guess what: the word trinity doesn’t exist in the Greek language. This is why Theo seemingly “made it up.” But he didn’t necessarily make it up on a whim. Knowing Luke wrote his Gospel to Theo between 63 and 70AD means Theo would have already read the Scripture Luke sent to him before divulging the word itself. He did exactly what Luke told him to do and 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is inspired by God for reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. God allowed Luke to add that note to Theo, and God is omniscient (knows all). He knew Theo would create the word, Trinity. If He knew the Trinity would be a downright heresy to His own existence, that nearly all of His followers would accept, He would not have let Luke keep that in the Bible. God is not a God of confusion, and His acts do not cause his children to stumble, especially at the sake of His own holy name, which He strictly forbids we use in vain.   The next thing people will assume is, “Well, you say WE are misinterpreting Scripture, but Theo could have just as easily since he wasn’t a Christian yet. Being the influential man he was, could’ve made all that up on a whim in the name of his own pride in his knowledge. The Trinity could have been made up as a spiritual construct to try to understand God, but not actually real.”   Yeah, well, it’s the same issue that sparked the homosexuality debate. The word, “homosexuality” wasn’t added to the Bible’s English translations until the 1800s. Just like before, the Bible’s language was translated from Greek. The word homosexuality didn’t exist back then either, let alone in the Greek language. So, what did God do? He described it instead! The word Trinity didn’t exist back then, so God had it described! And quite honestly, it is human nature to create words in our language to simplify a description. That’s how languages are built. That’s how God designed us. If you think about it, our entire English language didn’t exist back then, but we still credit everything we say with it in terms of interpreting Scripture; so if you want to use the same credibility behind “trinity not being a word in the Bible,” then the entire Bible, or at least 2/3 of it translated directly from Greek, would be wrong. Using his 3-part existence in a single word isn’t a heresy. If anything, I do believe the Holy Spirit himself dropped the word into Theo’s mind based on the Scriptures God had Luke send him, that God had Luke write! The word homosexuality isn’t in the Bible, but it is described and made very clear that it is a sin. As such, the word Trinity isn’t in the Bible, but it is described and it is very clear that God is three distinct persons in one, each with their own personal forms, God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.   Scientifically: God’s triune personality doesn’t just lie in his existence, but in what He creates. Morning, noon, and evening. Father, mother, and child. Earth, water, and sky. Birds (air), fish (water), and land animals (earth), to name a few. Even water itself can be solid ice, liquid, or steam. His creation alone is proof that He is triune. Not only did He pattern mankind after Himself (body, mind, and spirit), He also replicated that pattern in the rest of His creation; and based on the frequency, we can conclude this was absolutely done on purpose when the whole purpose of giving us a created universe and not just mankind by ourselves in a void of nothingness was so we could explore the very nature of God, acknowledge it, and celebrate it.   Biblically: In Genesis 1:26 when God said, “Let US make man in OUR image,” He wasn’t talking to Himself and the animals. He was talking to the other two parts of Himself, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. We are triune because  God is triune first and designed us to exist in His image, three parts in one. The Bible even proves that they are distinct with their own personal form and not stacked on top of one another like mankind’s form is. In Luke 3:22, the Bible says that not only did the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus in bodily form, but a voice from heaven spoke. This verse alone proves that all three distinct persons of God were in three different places at once. The Father was still in heaven when He spoke down, the Son Jesus was getting baptized down on earth, and the Holy Spirit was traveling down from where the Father was to where the Son was. Although this one nails the separation of all three, there are plenty of other verses that imply their separation individually.   The triune God: Luke 3:22- "And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased."   God the Father: Psalm 68:5-6- “Sing to God, praise his name; exalt the rider of the clouds. Rejoice before him whose name is the Lord. Father of the fatherless, defender of widows – God in His holy abode.” James 1:16-18- “Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers: all good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no alteration or shadow caused by change. He willed to give us birth by the word of truth that we may be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.” Philippians 1:2- Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (Notice the word “and” as to separate them).   God the Son:   Colossians 2:9- For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity (God the Father) lives in bodily form. John 14:9- Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? Colossians 1:15-17- He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. Isaiah 9:6- For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Hebrews 1:3- who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Notice it says that the Son is sitting next to the Father. He wouldn’t be sitting next to Himself). Titus 2:13- looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. (Notice another conjunctional separation).   God the Holy Spirit:   Luke 3:22- "And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased." Acts 2:4- All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enables them. (Notice it says the Spirit enabled them, not the Father and not the Son. The Son died so the Father could give the Spirit permission! They were a team!) Isaiah 11:2- The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him. The Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord. (The prophet Isaiah is foretelling of Jesus’ coming. He says, “the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him.” The Holy Spirit from Father God will be with the Son as He fulfills His ministry on earth). John 14:26- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (Even the Son Himself has claimed individuality from the Spirit and His Father.) Acts 5:3-4- But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.   God the Father’s individual existence is proven every time He speaks alone in Scripture. Jesus and the Holy Spirit do not have a thundering voice, nor the authority in which to direct mankind. Only the One who used His voice to speak the world into existence has the authority to command it. The Holy Spirit only has a still small voice and although Jesus’ voice is compared to a trumpet in Revelation, His job is to teach, proclaim, and perform miracles on behalf of the Father with the Holy Spirit’s direction. He never does anything by His own accord. He only does the will of the Father with direction from the Holy Spirit, which is also what we are commanded to do because He lives inside of us. Jesus is the Son of God. He can’t be the Father and the Son at the same time. The Bible also specifies where each of the three persons live distinctly. The Father and His Son Jesus sit in the throne room of Heaven with Jesus sitting on the Father’s right side (Acts 7:56). Meanwhile, ever since Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascent into glory, the Holy Spirit was sent down by the Father to live omnipresently inside of every born-again believer as we are His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). Is Jesus God or did He ever claim to be God? The short answer is yes, but it's not what everyone who demands sources expects, which is why it is so heavily denied. Intelligent people demand that the Bible say word for word that Jesus said, "I am God." He could have very well stated it that way, but the Holy Spirit did not allow Him to. He only every said what the Spirit gave Him permission to or ordered Him to; and even if He did not directly say "I am God," He did say this in John 12:49. The Holy Spirit only reveals and withholds things from us in the flesh for a reason, whether we understand it or not! It is a test of your trust and you faith. We will soon understand everything when we reach Heaven, but not while we are on this earth attached to a fleshly body. The Pharisees are straight examples of this experienced intelligence. In John 10:33, they directly accuse Him of claiming to be God. Why would they, masters of the sacred law of Moses, and therefore, masters in knowledge of what blasphemy is, accuse Him word for word, something that He never said? He did not even have to say it directly if His many other words and actions proved it otherwise; after all, actions are louder than words. In Matthew 13:11, Jesus even explains why He won't tell the Pharisees that He is God word for word; because it wouldn't matter. They wouldn't believe Him. The Holy Spirit only reveals the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven to those whose ears are listening and their hearts are open, and most importantly, their pride is turned off. He does not reveal secrets to those whom He knows won't receive it. This includes those today who deny it. If you've already made up your mind, then He isn't going to push you. He's not going to waste time convincing you of something when you can't be convinced. John 12:49- " I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it." John 10:33- They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God!" Matthew 13:11- And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (the Pharisees) it has not been given." Deuteronomy 29:29- The secret things belong to the  Lord, our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Luke 8:17- For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light. 1 Corinthians 2:10- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. Riaan Siegelaar, a former leader of the Satanic church can even tell you about the Trinity. His testimony includes a direct encounter with Christ Himself in the middle of a Satanic ritual, and ever since, Riaan has dedicated his life to revealing the mysteries of the spirit realm in his videos. This includes frequent references and claims of the Trinity: "There’s only two things in the spirit world, and I’m talking about the spirit world that is here around us; and it’s the Kingdom of God, which is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and there’s everything else that falls outside of that. So, there’s no grey."   Logically: There are many groups under Christianity as a religion who don’t believe in the Trinity. Of course, these groups are not limited. Any “Christian” can choose to deny it. They are the Unitarians, Modelists, the Latter-Day Saints, Jehovah’s Witness, La Luz Del Mundo, Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ), and Oneness Pentecostals. And of course, there are also the undenominational those who believe in everything Christianity has to offer accept the Trinity and all that comes with it.   One logical reason I believe some Christians deny the Trinity is founded upon the basic logic of other religions. Notice Christianity is the only religion where God is 3 distinct persons and not one, even if that one had the claimed powers of the One true God. All other religions, whether they be monotheistic or polytheistic worship a god or gods who only have one form no matter their power. When one doesn’t fully understand his/her religion, they are prone to deconstructing or simplifying it with logic and human reasoning. Unironically, the Bible calls this “your own understanding” in Proverbs 3:5. But the fact is biblical: When God puts something in Scripture and you interpret it correctly (by the help of the Holy Spirit), your job is to trust Him, not reason it away.   If you had a three-layer cake of your three favorite flavors (personally, mine are lemon, strawberry, and a raspberry / white chocolate / almond blend), but you wanted to start eating the bottom layer first, you wouldn’t take the top two layers off, deprive the cake of its fullness, destroying its beauty as well as the decorator’s hard work, and throw them (and possible 2/3 of the cost) away, would you? You also wouldn’t flip the cake upside down so you couldn’t even see the bottom two layers and destroy the décor of the icing on top. I would hope not! If I had made you that cake, you’d be kicked out and banned from my bakery! No! Trusting that the layer you want isn’t going anywhere, you would go ahead and eat the top to layers first, wouldn’t you! Even though the bottom is the flavor you want, the other two are still your other favorites. You wouldn’t act like they don’t exist or force them out of the way just to focus on the bottom! If you had thrown them away, once the bottom layer was eaten, that’s it! You don’t get the tasty benefits of the other two, because you weren’t willing to acknowledge their existence and the benefits attached to them. Instead, you decided to deconstruct it into nothing but your own layer of desires and understanding. To eat a good cake with every bit of tasty potential, you have to acknowledge the whole of it, not just the part you want. God’s existence is the same way. You can’t acknowledge one of God’s persons and ignore the other two. Not only will you live a life lacking the full benefit of His will and blessing on your life, but when you die, you’ll be judged for it, like the angry baker who watched you throw away two perfectly good layers of cake he just blessed you with. This is dangerous, because without the right heart posture in the midst of this unbelief, just like the baker kicking you out, God may kick you out of His Kingdom. You cannot fully obey God without trusting Him, and that means trusting every part of Him, not just one! Half-baked trust is still raw, and you can’t eat that! God won’t eat it either! (And He’s the one who gave me this analogy, so I know He likes cake too!)   As addressed in the beginning, anti-trinitarians believe that Jesus cannot be God because if He were, He would have and would have had while on earth, all the omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent powers of the Father. This is actually not true. Yes, all three forms are all powerful in all three ways because of their oneness. The only moment in time where this was not so was when Jesus emptied Himself of his power (omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence) in order to be completely subject to human chains as we are. He gave up His power and became completely mortal in which to save mankind from eternal fire. Every miraculous thing to happen henceforth was the result of the Holy Spirit working inside of Him with direction and confirmation from the Father. It was not Jesus who healed the sick but the Holy Spirit working through Him. It was not He who raised Himself from the dead, but the Father who raised Him (Acts 2:32).   Omniscient:  It means, all knowing. God knows everything there is to know and He is everlasting, so His knowledge is infinitely more than we humans can comprehend. It is also a common phrase in my family personally: “The Holy Spirit knows everything.”   Omnipresent:  It means that He can be anywhere He wants, even in multiple places at the same time. God can be anywhere at any time, even into the past and future.   Omnipotent:  It means all powerful. God can do whatever He pleases in a literal sense without the boundaries of the physical realm, and it is infinitely more than we can imagine. Despite this, His character states that He cannot lie and He is not one to change His mind as noted in Scripture. He also cannot perform any sort of evil. He is only good and therefore can only perform good.   When Jesus came down to earth, He was subject to every physical human limitation we have. That was the whole point. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). He was tempted in every possible way we are tempted (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus was completely human and completely God. How? Because even in His flesh prison, if you remember, He did not have a human father. Joseph’s seed did not impregnate Mary. God the Father was Jesus’ real Father. So, with a human mother and a literal God Father, you’d think he was only half of each, which the Romans call a demi-god. Nope! This is because Jesus the Son, like His Father, are everlasting. Jesus time in the flesh was temporary. This temporary, vaporous life of 33 years as opposed to everlasting doesn’t mean He isn’t God anymore. Remember those eight instances were God the Father came down in physical form? Last I checked, He was still God the Almighty, all-powerful Father. And all-powerful means He can do so without dismissing His true identity. If He can do it, you bet His Son, who is equal in power can!   To clarify, some anti-trinitarians also believe that Jesus wasn’t everlasting like the Father and His existence began when He was born, which they further use to reason why He can’t be God, because unlike God, Jesus wasn’t everlasting. This is also false. In Genesis 1:26, when God the Father said, “Let US make man in OUR image,” He wasn’t talking to Himself. He was talking to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. If He hadn’t been talking to them, our image of Him would be as limited as He. We are also comprised of three parts, body, mind, and spirit. If we were made in God the Father’s image by Himself without Jesus’ body “stencil” and the Holy Spirit’s spirit “stencil,” we would be nothing but a wad of invisible mind, will, and emotions with no way or even a reason of using them (Oh look, another pair of three).   It is also falsely believed that in this instance, He was talking to the angels who notoriously have a similar form to humans. But not only does the Bible also say that nothing existed, not even the angels before the creation of Earth and the physical realm, but if we had assumed the image of angels, we wouldn’t be human; we would look like aliens. We would be the ones walking around telling everyone else not to be afraid. We wouldn’t be able to reproduce or have reproductive organs. We would not be distinctly male and female as Genesis also mentions God made us to be. And some of us would have wings, some of us would have the multiple heads of the same animals we coexist with, some of us be as tall as the Nephilim (and don’t even get me started on the confusion that would cause), and some of us would be covered in eyes! We are not angels. We are not even the same species as them!   Presently: We also have to understand that God, no matter which three parts of Him, live in the spirit realm or some scholars might call it, the “second heaven,” the first being the physical cosmos outside of earth’s atmosphere. To us, He is entirely invisible due to our spiritual eyes being shut over our physical eyes. We are also not permitted to see the face and otherwise form of Father God because we are unworthy. We would die instantly. In fact, before the permission of the Holy Spirit’s dwelling in the spirits of mankind, all it took was the mere presence of God’s invisibility that would kill someone instantly. There are limited exceptions of course, more so recorded in the Bible than present times (but today, there are several recorded stories of Jesus appearing to people all over the world!). Because man cannot see Father God’s face, before Jesus’ time to be born, God the Father would appear down on earth with a physical body like that of a human in order to communicate to someone more efficiently or reveal His glory. In fact, there are eight recorded instances of God the Father doing this. He appeared to Hagar in Genesis 16, to Abraham and Sarah two chapters later in Genesis 18, Abraham again in Genesis 22, Jacob in Genesis 32, Moses in Exodus 3 (before the transfiguration in 33), Gideon in Judges 6, Samson’s parents in Judges 13, and finally to Shadrach, Meshack, Abed-Nego, and King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3. There is only one instance in the Bible (if not all of human history) where God shoes His true form to one person, and that is Moses. Exodus 33:11 reveals that “The Lord used to speak to Moses face to face , as a man speaks to his friend,” and Deuteronomy 4:10 notes that Moses was the only prophet in recorded history to see God face to face while his spirit was still in his body. And the only reason he didn’t die instantly, was because he was both Israel’s current leader chosen by God, and also a high priest whose God-commanded rules allowed him to face Him without dying. None of the other priests in Israel could do this; all their bodies could stand was God’s presence in the tabernacle and the Arch of the Covenant in which that presence lived. But even then, if they entered His presence unclean, they would die like anyone beneath them. During a transfiguration event on Mt. Sinai, the Father revealed His true form to Moses, but His face was too bright for Moses to see it. In fact, when Moses came back down the mountain, God’s light made his face also too bright for the Israelites to see.   Today, now that Jesus died, rose, and came into His glory, God’s human visits are no longer needed to communicate and reveal His glory, because of the Holy Spirit, who does it for Him. However, God can and still does allow some of us to see glimpses into the spirit realm for our individual benefit, and then, we are only permitted to see Jesus the Son. We have no need to see the Holy Spirit’s form because He lives inside of us. Other than Christ, should God open our spiritual eyes, we are only permitted to see glimpses such as angels, messengers, or demons. But until we are accepted into God’s Holy Kingdom of Heaven, we are not permitted to see the Father’s form as seen by Moses in Exodus, or the Holy Spirit’s bodily form as described in Luke.   With that explanation completed, I understand why it would be a frustration to people who are undecided or shun the Trinity. It’s an obvious case of “I don’t see, so I don’t believe.” Even Thomas the disciple who had walked with Jesus’ physical form for years didn’t believe He was alive and demanded to see Him with his own eyes (John 20:25). But notice after Jesus granted his wish, He proceeded with this verse, “ Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”  (John 20:29b). This phrase goes as a reminder that just because we may only be permitted to see God the Son in this physical life doesn’t mean the other two don’t exist. We’re just not permitted to see them, and God prohibits these things for reasons we are not required or obligated to understand while we are down here on earth.   Conclusion: It is a common truth that humans fear what they don’t understand, and the typical response is to get rid of it if it cannot be proven or explained. But this is exactly why the Holy Spirit is so important. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. He knows everything and is more than willing to share the secrets of the second heaven with you if you ask. The Holy Spirit is also the key to interpreting Scripture correctly. Jesus the Son said it Himself that the Holy Spirit would come after His death and to lead us into all truth. This means that to disregard His existence is to disregard truth. This goes the same for God the Father.   The Bible doesn’t use the word Trinity, but it does make clear that all three exist and all three are God. As a Christian, you are required to acknowledge the existence of all three and you will be judged for ignoring any of them, even if you acknowledge the others. All three are crucial to our relationship with God. We believe in Jesus Christ, His mercy, grace and love who grants us our salvation (by what He did on the cross), we listen to and obey the Holy Spirit (to live out our calling for which He designed for us), and we praise and worship the Father (to thank Him and draw nearer to Him). It's that simple. The life of a true believer, a real Christian, is literally built on the Trinity. God IS the Trinity, and we were literally birthed from it.

Just because the world has modernized, desensitized, and beautified old traditions doesn’t mean the demons detached themselves from it. The spirit realm, aka, where the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4), "he who lives in the world" (1 John 4:4), and the "works of darkness" (Ephesians 6:12) live is very real and God intends for all of His children to be cautious because Satan goes around through this realm like a roaring lion looking for anyone he can devour (trick, trap, stumble, etc.) (1 Peter 5:8). The reason the spirit realm is able to interfere with the physical realm is because humans have spirits, which are connected to our physical body and driven by what we see, hear, read, and consume. Knowing this, Satan can trap us in every day objects and practices. His job is to normalize them, have us view them as harmless, and use "our own flesh understanding" (Proverbs 3:5) against us. With these examples I'm about to share with you, you'll understand what I mean. In fact, a lot of you will dive straight into "Yeah right! Another legalistic Christian! It's just insert object ! That's not demonic!" One of the biggest lies Satan and his entourage have used to deceive many lives, Christians included, is that he cannot effect us through objects, health-related practices, food, music, TV, and everything else. Let me reassure you, he very much can and does! And I've seen and heard stories of people who got delivered from these very "harmless" things and can attest that it is very real. So let's get started!   Energy Drinks   First of all, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Drinking energy drinks, like most food and beverage, is not a sin it itself, so please don't misunderstand! However, there are two implications in which you should stop drinking them, and both of them are spiritual. If God (Holy Spirit) convicts you or tells you to stop drinking them. Even if you have absolutely no issues drinking them! Even if He uses the term "shouldn't," furthering your consumption is considered rebellion and therefore, sin. He knows what's best for you. He knows everything. God isn't a legalistic God. He designed everything—your body, your mind, your spirit, the physical realm, and the spiritual realm, and knows how all of them work. I can readily assure you He's trying to protect you, whether it be the chemicals that will damage your physical body, your mental chemical balance, and if there is demonic activity attached to it, protecting your spirit. If I loved drinking energy drinks, had no physical/mental issues from it, and God still told me to stop, I love God more than energy drinks, I know He made my body, and I know He wouldn't tell me to quit something for no reason. You bet I'm going to stop! If you consume energy drinks and notice some negativity in your life, such as depression, anxiety, nightmares, trouble regulating emotions, trouble sleeping, dietary issues, etc., you might want to consult with the Holy Spirit and ask Him the source of these issues, even if it's just one of them. God is interested in every detail of our life, no matter how petty we think it is (Psalm 56:8)! He will always tell us how to take care of our body if we ask! When an object is attached to a demonic stronghold, Satan will use those things, including food and drink, as a contract to meddle with us in various ways. Drinking them (certain brands, not all of them!) lets the powers of darkness know that you have given them permission to effect you. Whatever they do to your spirit, manifests in your physical body. This can be felt as every symptom I listed at the beginning of this paragraph. Physical ailments and poor mental health isn't always your immune system fighting something. It can also be your spirit fighting something because of a stronghold you allowed into your life from a seemingly harmless thing. Now that I've explained it, here are the brands you need to avoid for spiritual reasons! These are just the three that I've found, but there's more! And be mindful! Not all spiritually tainted energy drinks have demonic names! Some of them are all cute, colorful, and make us all warm and fuzzy inside like cupcakes and rainbows! Liquid Death  has confirmed they have a hired witch doctor who curses their cans before they are sent to stores. Their name wasn't chosen on a whim. If you're skeptical, there are sources you can look up. Here's one of many that I found: https://www.thedrum.com/creative-works/project/liquid-death-certified-cursed   Monster Energy ’s famous animal claw logo turns out to be the Hebrew insignia for the triple six. "Christian Karens" use to market this once upon a time and equally so, I was the skeptic who made fun of it. That was before I started listening to the Holy Spirit. And if it doesn't get any more coincidental, a lot of people I see and/or know who drink this brand are not very happy or healthy people. Coincidence? I think not.   Alani's Witch’s Brew  speaks for itself. If it's caramel apple flavor, just call it that.   Not all energy drink brands are run by demonic-promoting employers, but even so, most energy drinks are made with chemicals that will damage your body if they don’t damage your spirit (and this includes the ones that claim to be "healthy." They are NOT). Even though the consumption of energy drinks in itself isn’t a sin, I promise you if you asked the Holy Spirit about consuming energy drinks, there's a pretty good chance He would kindly advise you to stop drinking them, the same as He would with alcohol, drugs, and smoking. Your body is a temple. No, you may not quit sugar and the likes of things which are also bad for you, but cutting consumption of any damaging consumable is better than nothing, for all three parts of you—body, mind, and spirit. My sister experienced this once upon a time. Upon meeting her husband who practically lived on energy drinks (notoriously, Monster Energy), she began drinking a few of the peach-flavored ones. But it was already evident within the first few cans that her body was taking on damage. Her anxiety sky-rocketted. The appetite suppressing caffeine caused her to nearly stop eating, especially during long work hours. She started having depressive episodes out of nowhere. And multiplied with the stress of working retail nearly forty hours a week, nearly landed in the hospital for "anxiety-related health issues." As for the rest of us, her family, we had already seen the culprit to be the peach Monster Energy drinks within the first can we witnessed. After marrying her husband (who was experiencing some of the same mental and physical symptoms for much longer), they both decided to seek the Lord to see how He wanted them to start living life, which required them to let go of some things. One of the first things they received was to stop drinking, not just Monster Energy, but energy drinks altogether. The reason? God wanted them to protect their spirit and their physical body and confirmed it multiple times through our mother and personal research. They were met with a strong wakeup call and both of them quit cold turkey. Ever since, their attitudes have increased, they are laughing more, smiling more, sleeping better, and just generally living better. Unfortunately, this is the only example I am allowed to give due to privacy reasons.   Everyday Witchcraft   Today’s normalized crazes among everyday people, not even self-proclaimed witches, are yoga, astrology, crystals, angel/demon numbers, shakable fortune toys (magic 8 ball and its counterparts) meditation, and ouiji boards.   Just because you aren’t a self-proclaimed witch (male or female) doesn’t mean you can’t or don’t practice witchcraft. Most modernized practices today, especially social and self-care promoted practices are forms of witchcraft and antagonize and invite demonic influence into the lives of those who practice them. They’ve become so normalized, that no one but the witches know that it’s dangerously real. It’s been reduced to normal, almost second nature, so common that it’s comparable to getting coffee in the morning or going grocery shopping. Just something that everybody does now. Nothing strange about it.   So, here’s what you need to know behind all the “normal” things we do today. Note: Some of these have deeper explanations located in other blogs! :)   Yoga is a Hindu practice in which they use to worship their gods (whom the Bible warns are demons). Just because you aren’t Hindu doesn’t mean you aren’t worshiping demons or enticing demonic activity when you engage in yoga. In fact, you can talk to true Hindus and they will tell you just what you are opening your spirit to when you engage in it. Long story short: It's not just stretching. Some churches and religious organizations offer "Christian yoga," where they attempt to blend the Hindu practice with Jesus and therefore, claim it to be safe. That is not how the Kingdom of God works. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" What does Hinduism and true Christianity have in common? What fellowship can God have with demons? Stretching isn't a sin; in fact, it is very good for your physical body. But when mankind has purposefully invited demons to attach themselves to some choice positions is where God draws the line. Stretch physically and responsibly, not spiritually. For a more in-depth view on Yoga, click here !   Astrology/the Zodiac/Horoscopes is a popular form of social identification and practice used to predict individual psychology/activity as well as earthly events based on the astronomical alignment in which an event takes place, or an individual was born. It is most practiced in Hinduism and Chinese culture who use it to worship their gods (also demons). They worship celestial bodies instead of God who created them. It is a form of fortune telling and false god worship, which in turn is a form of witchcraft (divination). The Bible states clearly and in multiple segments of Scripture that practicing astrology is a sin and those who are involved in it are in danger of spiritual death. Even simply identifying as one of the twelve signs is practice enough. You are not who the constellations say you are. You are who God says you are. To believe that your features are based upon the alignment of stars and planets is to engage in false worship, one in which God strictly forbids in His Word. God gave us the stars and planets to reflect Him so that we can magnify Him and glorify Him, but mankind has perverted it into pagan worship. Scriptures included are Deuteronomy 18:10-14, the story of Daniel and the lion's den, Isaiah 47:13-14, and Leviticus 19:26.   The use of crystals is also mentioned in the Bible. Supposedly, earthly elements contain invisible frequencies or “positive energy” which “manifest” positive things to those who possess them. Like astrology, reverence is given to rocks instead of God who created the rocks and the only person who can bring blessing into His children. This is practiced by self-proclaimed witches and anyone who practices "New Age" witchcraft, and is a form of idol worship. God created crystals as symbolic reminders of his pact with Israel (included in the priestly garments) as well as a way to reflect His power and splendor. There are even crystals and gemstones listed in Revelation to be included in Heaven's structure. Crystal divination and astrology typically go hand-in-hand and are therefore condemned equally by God in His Word and today.   Angel and demon numbers are a pre-requisite identification trend to the mark of the beast. Supposedly each triple segment of numbers represents something similar to both crystals and astrology as each set has a unique meaning. They are signs the universe sends to give people identity, direction, and encouragement. They are the opposite influence of God and demons hide behind them and take advantage of these numbers to have individuals act against God’s will. It is a form of idol worship and a form of witchcraft. All of these numbers are demonic, including the "angel" numbers. Remember that the "fallen angels" in Scripture are still demons. The Bible also warns that the mark of the beast is a demon number, the triple six, and will decide the final destination of every individual's spirit, eternal life, or eternal death. Do not associate with ANY these numbers! They are not your identity. Your identity, direction, and your encouragement come from God Himself! You should be listening and putting your trust in Him and not a number.   The shakable magic 8 ball and its counterparts like the cube, etc. are random “harmless” toys you can find at the mall. You ask it a question, shake it, and it gives you a random answer. The issue is, this is a form of self-fortune telling and therefore, a form of lesser-known witchcraft. It is no different than a travel sized portable ouiji board disguised as a children’s toy. Yes; even "for fun."   Ouiji boards used to be an obvious occultic and paganistic object to have and use as it was originally used by witches. But today, it’s turned into a “harmless” board game used for the thrill and by literally anyone. But the demonic tie to it has not changed; in fact, some use it to try and summon demons or converse with the dead (necromancy). Just like the magic 8 ball, it is a form of fortune telling (with more answers), putting your trust in demonic activity to answer questions rather than God. It is and has always been a form of obvious witchcraft.   Meditation originated as a Hindu practice, but today, it has turned into a daily self-care ritual. Like Yoga, it is used to worship their false gods while convincing themselves that self-reverence will bring inner peace. It requires the individual to meditate on things which are not God. The practice is used by self-proclaimed witches. It is used to obtain a counterfeit of peace from the universe, aka, demons acting as though it works, instead of choosing God’s real peace. It is a form of false god worship and a form of witchcraft. We are commanded by God to meditate on His Word day and night (Joshua 1:8), and to think only of things that are good (Philippians 4:8). An idle (empty, undisciplined, wandering) mind gives room for demonic invitation (Matthew 12:43-45). It makes it easy for Satan to manipulate what you think about and what you grab onto; and when meditated long enough, becomes habitual.   Fortune Cookies   First and foremost, eating fortune cookies isn’t a sin (I mean, come on. It's a cookie). But the religion behind the notes inside is a form of Chinese witchcraft when taken seriously (key note: When taken seriously. And you'd be surprised how many do UNINTENTIONALLY). Reading them isn’t a sin either; it’s taking them into consideration and putting your belief in something typed on a piece of paper instead of God that is. It is tied with luck and fortune telling, much like tarot cards, and the magic 8 ball, etc, which entice the demonic to act on behalf of your belief and make it appear as though it is real. So, the next time you go to an Asian restaurant and decide to eat a fortune cookie, toss the paper. It’s pointless. Luck does not exist but give in and demons will make it seem like it is.   Media centering around witchcraft and/or the demonic To learn more about this topic, click here !   I tend to use Harry Potter as a prime example, because it nails everything you should avoid, but this goes for ALL forms of media consumption which revolve around things which glorify sin; more concentrated, directly Satanic. Watching TV, moves, series, and reading books etc. isn’t a sin. But intentionally allowing content into your eyes and ears (which are direct lines into your soul and spirit) that goes against God IS, especially after He warns you not to. God will never allow you to watch or listen to something that glorifies evil without giving you His input, so there is NO excuse to justify your involvement. There is no such thing as good magic/witchcraft. God says all of it has ties with the devil and when watched or listened to has spiritual consequences no matter who you are. Watching and listening to things which glorify the demonic is the spiritual equivalent to eating a junk-based diet. Your spirit consumes light and sound through your eyes and ears just like your body consumes food through your mouth. God created your spirit, which means it was designed to consume things that are also connected to Him to grow and stay healthy. So, when you watch and listen to things that are the opposite of Him, they damage your spirit just like junk food damages your body.   Pagan Holidays To learn more about this topic, click here !   Halloween is the most obvious in terms of pagan holidays, but it is not limited to it as there are other holidays which, although aren’t inherently pagan, involve practices which are not of God and go against Him. Just because some of us engage in pagan practices once a year, doesn’t justify it. Just like watching and listening to things which clearly connect themselves to the devil, aka, the demonic/witchcraft, doing “fun” things in the name of a holiday which represents the same things is equally damaging. Also, the origins of most “once upon a time” pagan holidays were used to worship false gods and some, Satan himself. A lot of people immediately jump to Easter and Christmas and accuse them of being pagan to justify why they celebrate Halloween and then turn around and call the avoiders hypocrites. Although it’s true that the origins of the Easter bunny and Santa (who is NOT St. Nick anymore) are pagan, the focus on Jesus Christians celebrate it for is not.   Heavy Metal Music   Specifically, the secular version. There are some heavy metal musicians who use the genre to directly glorify God (like Skillet). However, please take into account that they are acting on behalf of a God-given direction that is NOT for everybody! It sounds risky, but it works when your heart posture and intentions are in the right place. However, most heavy metal music glorifies the dark instead of the light. This is why most people refer to it as “the devil’s music.” The genre itself symbolizes a loss of self-control, which is a Fruit of the Spirit, and typically glorifies Satan himself with its lyrics and darkened atmosphere. Just like most if not all secular music, heavy metal is a genre in itself you should stay away from unless Christian HM has been approved to you by God. And yes, you have to ask! Assuming something is safe without consulting God is always a flesh move!   Shopping   Specifically, what certain stores and shops represent and what they sell. The objects in general could have familiar spirits attached to them, which will affect the buyer. Stores that sell objects in relation to witchcraft are a good start to stay away from. It doesn’t mean walking into the store or buying something else is a sin, but it does mean you should stay alert as Scripture tells us to do and if something is purchased, to pray over it should there be a spirit, which could negatively affect you. I tend to stay away from stores like Spencer’s and Hot Topic, solely because of the dark atmosphere and the things they sell. Once or twice I've had to stay away from a Five Below store (just the one where I live) due to an entire table selling books on witchcraft. Conclusion To conclude, demons will attach themselves to ANYTHING we give them permission to. Satan has come to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). His nature is to corrupt all that God has held sacred. This is why a lot of biblical practices have become witchcraft, and also why even some Christians are deceived into it. For example: Animal sacrifices were commanded for atonement of sin until Jesus' death atoned for all sin in past, present, and future. So to sacrifice animals today to whatever god man chooses is now a form of witchcraft. Mankind worships the created instead of the Creator and the result was the perversion of, not only the supernatural, but the objects it touches upon permission. Mankind is the only created being God gave dominion over the physical earth and the power to command the supernatural into the natural. He even gave us the power to command the light and condemn the darkness! But alas, we have perverted it and instead, we command the darkness and condemn the light. We call what is evil, good, and what is good, evil (Isaiah 5:20). But there is hope, because God will tell you what to stay away from! All you have to do is ask! We need to stop playing these things off as superstition built on normalized culture, and start listening the Holy Spirit. When Jesus returns, He will not accept New Age or Progressive Christianity. When I tell people I don’t celebrate Halloween and I advise them not to either, the first accusation I get is, "Well, you Christians celebrate Christmas and Easter, and those are pagan holidays, so you're a hypocrite." For the longest time, I had no idea what they were talking about, SO, I decided to do my own research. And at long last, I've done it so you don't have to. Here they are, the origins behind Christmas and Easter, those terrible two-faced holidays that Christians celebrate...or appear to. Easter...or Ishtar?   Yes. Easter is a pagan holiday, congratulations. You know what isn’t? Jesus’ resurrection. Easter is the English word given to Eostre, or Ostara, the goddess of spring and fertility as symbolized by eggs and rabbits. It is a holiday started in the 7 th  and 8 th  centuries AD by a group of pagan Anglo-Saxons, which originally celebrated the coming of the spring equinox every April (through festivals on the Wiccan calendar), although the exact day is unknown. The reason it is considered pagan, is because it’s the worship of a false god, which includes all the festivities they did, notably a great feast in Eostre’s honor. Eostre is also part of the Wiccan religion along with several other gods based on the seasons. Every season brings a new group of festivals, where they perform specific celebrations, rituals, etc. This meant they engaged in witchcraft, although the specific rituals were unclear, unlike Halloween. The Romans were no different, as Halloween’s bobbing for apples’ origin lies in a festivity dedicated to their goddess, Feralia. This is also the name of their holiday which honors the dead (Feralia is Rome’s version of Halloween). Eostre is also derived from the Biblical “god,” Ishtar, Asherah, or Ashterah,  a known demon (depicted as female) much of the Biblical world worshiped (the supposed wife of Ba’al); furthermore, a practice God strictly forbode, verbalized many times in Scripture, and harshly punished those who were involved (which included most of Israel's kings in 1&2 Samual, Kings, and Chronicles). The maypole tradition soon after Easter is also a pagan practice from German origin and spread to other parts of the world, Anglo-Saxons included. “Ashterah poles” are widely mentioned in the Old Testament. Dedicated to Ashterah (Ishtar), individuals would engage in sexual acts under the pole as a ritual to supposedly bring fertility and military success in the coming season. Today's "Maypoles," although the rituals are clearly different, are still just modern Ashterah poles, since they are still danced around during Easter. Today, places like Britain still engage in maypole dances during Easter.   There are over a dozen names for Ishtar (that I've found), depending on the country, language, and timeline, but her influence is always the same. She is depicted as a woman in every region to date and is always the “god of” sex, fertility, or war in her jurisdiction lineup. Nearly every religion, today included, has this god with a unique name and lore, depending on their culture (that's how you know it's the same demon when every pagan religion has a version of her).   Easter egg hunts’ origins are different than most would expect. Like Eostre, they also originated in Germany, which is why the Christian and pagan elements were able to blend, but its creation, unlike Eostre, is NOT pagan. Even more unexpected, although the elements of Easter egg hunts were taken from pagan Eostre’s eggs and rabbits, it wasn’t created by the pagans. Plot twist! It was created by the Christians! Although the pagan Easter traditions came first hundreds of years before, starting in 1290 and updated by the 16 th century, Christians of the German church during the Age of Enlightenment noticed that eggs can easily be symbolized when empty as Jesus’ empty tomb. Edward I in 1260 invented the painting of the eggs in regard to spring colors. Later in the 1700s, Martin Luther invented the initial hunts as a fun activity for the women and children to represent the discovering of Jesus’ empty tomb and the excitement of new life. The “Easter bunny” was coined in 1682 by a man named George Frank in an essay he wrote “About Easter Eggs.” He symbolized Eostre’s symbolizing of rabbits and re-illustrated fertility into relation with the Virgin Mary, Jesus’ mother. He then invented the storyline of the Easter bunny, who goes around and hides eggs for the children to find (and since rabbits multiply like mice, you can't get any more fertile than that). Put together, the Easter tradition was born. The issue? Although the intentions were aiming for something holy, they were still taken from something originally pagan. It doesn’t help that they kept the English name of the pagan version, basically the name of a demon. Most Christians don’t know this, because not everyone is a historian, so we can’t exactly blame them. Simply calling it Easter isn’t a sin as we recognize it as the celebration of Jesus resurrection, and certainly not the worship of a false god, but it can in good conscious be known better as "Resurrection Day" regardless. Exodus 23:13 says from God's own mouth, "Pay close attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips." After finding this scripture, I am fully convinced that "Happy Easter," is no longer a happy greeting, nor does it help the Christian witness to those who know where the word "Easter" comes from. And no wonder the unbelievers accuse us of involving ourselves in pagany, when we run around with the name of a demon on our lips as a blessing.   So, then where did Jesus’ resurrection get recognized if it happened first? Well, we already know that Eostre, egg hunts, and Jesus’ resurrection were all known by the German church, which is how they blended. Scholars have long discovered that the Bible seldom records the date in which Jesus was crucified. Based on a mixture of historical records, it has been concluded (hopefully) that Jesus was crucified on Friday April 3 rd , 33AD at 3PM in the afternoon, several hundred years before the Anglo-Saxons invented Eostre. Jesus came first! So, how did they blend? You have the church of the Age of Enlightenment and the American "melting pot" to blame for that. We aren't just notorious for blending nations in our citizenship, but also the cultures and international tradition that come with them. Free religion is part of our Constitution and like everything else, it has its benefits and its drawbacks, both socially and spiritually.   Nonetheless, Resurrection Day (Easter) is the day Jesus resurrected and therefore, it is still a holy day in which Christians celebrate, eggs and bunnies or not. So, this should not be used to justify celebrating a holiday that was and still is openly pagan with absolutely no Godly interference whatsoever. If you want to complain, talk to the people who take Jesus out of Easter and really do celebrate the pagan side. We do NOT involve ourselves in any part of the Wiccan religion or calendar. We are NOT those people.   Christmas...or X-Mas?   The other fine accusation I get is the claim that Christmas, is also a pagan holiday. “Jesus wasn’t really born on Christmas Day. He wasn’t even born in the winter.” This is correct, congratulations again! Although the Bible and many other historical texts prove the date of Jesus’ death, there isn’t any proof or hint of the day, month, or even season of His birth. Knowing the Bible is the Word of God, we can conclude He probably left this out on purpose as He wrote and left out certain events for a divine reason, so it’s nothing that we should be dogmatic about. Pope Julius I declared the birthdate of Jesus in 350AD. Coincidentally, according to the Wiccan (pagan) calendar, the winter solstice festivals take place starting Dec. 21 and end after the official day of Christmas on the 25th. This is why the traditions were blended, so one could try and trump the other out of religious dispute, but hey; at least, they were trying to trump dark with light and not the other way around, like Halloween (but that's another story).   Just like nearly every other holiday, the roots of Christmas were tied to ancient traditions. And no surprise here; the Romans (America gets a LOT of our culture from the Romans). Before Christmas and the Christian influence, there was Yule, the winter solstice festival similar to Eostre, the spring festival (Easter) and Samhain, the fall festival (Halloween). The reason they are all considered to be pagan is because they all fall on the Wiccan calendar and its pagan traditions found their way into the modern holiday culture, Christians included. The Roman version of Yule was called “Saturnalia,” pertaining to the worship of Saturn (a form of astrology, in turn, a form of witchcraft, which God mentions and warns against in His Word).   Gift giving was a tradition created by the Romans during Saturnalia. Giving small gifts to each other was done for good luck similar to Chinese luck culture. But somewhere along the line and hundreds of years later, the system took advantage of it in order to turn it into a multi-million-dollar business. Money is literally the only reason we kept it going. Afterwards, the Christians re-symbolized it in regard to Jesus’ birth. We give gifts to each other, because God gave His only Son, Jesus to us, the greatest gift of all time. But this was easily adopted and blended with the image of Santa.   The image of Santa with a long beard, fat, and wearing red and white was invented by none other than the Coca-Cola company in the 1930s. But they  got it from the German Yule festival combined with St. Nick. One of the gods worshipped during the Yule festival was Odin, the notorious Norse/German pagan god. He was portrayed as a man similar to St. Nick with a long white beard and would ride through the sky with his 8-legged horse, Sleipnir. The tradition was that children would leave carrots and straw in their stockings and leave them by the chimney for Sleipnir to eat; and in exchange, Odin would put presents in the stockings. St. Nicholas, who lived in Greece around 4 th  century AD, was a very real man who gave gifts to the poor and children. He was known for having a beard and wore a long cloak much like today’s Santa. The name, Santa Clause is an English translation to Nick’s Dutch name, Sinter Klaas. So, blended together, the entire Santa Clause image is a blend of Yule pagany, a real historical person, and the Coca-Cola rebrand. In turn, this is where we get gift-giving, leaving cookies for Santa (instead of carrots for Odin; another money ploy), and hanging stockings above the fireplace. The problem is, the image of Santa with its pagan roots still attached in disguise, is so vastly attached to Christmas, that we might as well be worshipping Odin or at least, another figure instead of God; so honestly, we could do Christmas without him. Just because they blended St. Nicholas into the final character doesn’t mean Santa and St. Nick are the same person. If anything, they perverted the name of a Saint and used business ploys to make it look appealing. No thanks.   Caroling began as a German Yule pagan tradition. The original term was “wassailing,” which comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase “waes hael,” which means “good health.” Similar to Halloween traditions, this was done to ward off evil spirits and is done so by going door to door and singing instead of going door to door and getting candy. But today, Christians can easily go door to door and sing songs with real spirit-warding power instead of the demonic counterfeit. So, take that.   Mistletoe is a sacred pagan plant involved in several pagan rituals. All worldwide pagans used this plant, not just the Germans. They used the plant to worship Saturn (the god and the planet). Originally, instead of kissing, they would perform sexual acts, similar to how they would under a Asherah pole. So yes, they worshipped Saturn by having sex under a plant since mistletoe represented fertility just like Ishtar/Asherah.   Holly was just as sacred of a plant as mistletoe. In Rome, Saturnalia used holly plants as decorations and wreaths as a sign of good luck. Here’s the kicker. The Christians stole it on purpose because of the time similarity. Because Pope Julius declared their Christian celebration at the same time as the pagan festivals, they were persecuted for celebrating Jesus’ birth, so they decided to use holly wreathes and hang them in their house or on their doors to make the pagans believe they were celebrating Saturnalia with them so they would be left alone and less persecuted. In fact, the practice became so popular that when the pagan population began decreasing, the holly wreath tradition was given to the Christians.   The decorating of trees was also a Roman Saturnalian tradition. Romans would hang metal ornaments on trees outside their homes. The German pagans would use fruits and candles instead to worship Odin. Christians adopted this idea to associate trees with life and candles as light as Jesus is as quoted in Scripture. But we don’t hang lit candles on trees anymore for obvious reasons, so we’ve since then switched to Christmas lights.   And lastly, the name, “Christmas.” Unlike Easter, Christmas is a Christian word. The suffix “mas,” refers to a “mass” celebration of something. Put together, it is the mass celebration of Christ our Lord: Christ mass: Christ-mas. This is exactly why non-believers replace it with an X. Those who use X-mas are the ones who retain the pagan heart posture and reject their Savior (and for those of you who use "X-mas" because "Christmas" is too long to fit on your tag labels, think outside the box and use a C!).   To sum it up, the origins of Christmas were pagan, but unlike Halloween and some Easter traditions, the Christians did a good job of thwarting the pagans and turning it into a genuine holiday which represents Jesus (minus Santa, of course). If we wanted it to stay pagan, we would’ve kept the names Yule or Saturnalia instead of changing it with the name of Christ. Yes, we could do without Santa and a few other things, but just like Easter, Christmas is the day we decide to celebrate Jesus’ birth. It is still a holy day in which Christians celebrate the 1 st  coming of our Lord, Santa or not. So, this should not be used to justify celebrating a holiday like Halloween that was and still is openly pagan with absolutely no Godly interference whatsoever. If you want to complain about Christmas being pagan, talk to the people who call it X-mas and really do take Jesus out of it and worship the pagan side. Because we are NOT those people either.    The difference between Halloween, Easter, and Christmas   The light around the holidays as a whole still needs to be considered, because if we all took enough pride in the way we live life as opposed to our neighbors, we’d be rioting in the streets about it for no reason and hating everyone around us. Unlike most religious holidays and festivals, we took the pagany out and celebrate for the soul purpose of acknowledging Jesus Christ, something Halloween can’t. We didn’t even try to take the pagany out of Halloween because there is nothing to change. It solely celebrates darkness. There is no light in it to pull out, not even a glimpse. It a blend of pure pagan tradition, not one holy tradition (and light has no fellowship with darkness - 2 Corinthians 6:14). Jesus is nowhere in Halloween like it is in Christmas and Easter. We found enough light in Easter that we changed the spotlight from eggs and bunnies to Jesus and even rewrote the symbolism. We found enough light in Christmas that not only did we change the spotlight from Santa to Jesus and rewrote the symbolisms, but we put Christ in its name. We distinguished the Christian traditions from the pagan ones amongst the blend and pulled them out; and some of us (like me and my family) have thrown away the pagan traditions and strictly celebrate the ones which pertain to Christ. This is not possible with Halloween nor are we going to try. In fact, it is so tied to Satan that to try would be just as corrupt as celebrating it, and would violate a plethora of Scripture. And if you look up the origins of Halloween, you’ll find that even the “Priests” (druids) who attempted to overwrite Halloween into a Christian holiday were just as cultish as the people they criticized. They really were hypocrites. And just like I’ve mentioned through the last 2 explanations. We are NOT those people nor are we going to be (even though I can’t say the same for everyone else).   Conclusion and a word from the author   All these festivals are part of the Wiccan (witchcraft) religious calendar, and celebrations of each worship a specific god/goddess/demon of a specific season/planet/etc. This is where Halloween, Easter, and the pagan Christmas (now called X-mas) came from. Also keep in mind that the Wiccan religion was a worldwide thing. The Celtic pagans (“Wiccans”) gave us Halloween, and the German pagans gave us Easter and Christmas. The Roman pagans are responsible for some of the traditions that we blended into all three on account of the American habit of blending cultures. The American versions of these holidays blend everything together, because that’s what we do. We are after all, the melting pot of the modern world. We accept all races and ethnicities together under one country, and that includes their religions and practices, which obviously includes the practices in holidays, granted to us by the freedom of speech and religion in our Constitution. Our holidays contain the blended traditions of everyone, Christian and pagan. And y’know what that means? We are free to celebrate those traditions however we want as a valid citizen of the United States. However, do note that this blending of cultures was predicted in the Bible as a warning against and not a condoning. Psalm 106:35-36: "Instead, they mingled among the pagans and adopted their evil customs. They worshipped their idols which led to their downfall." This is not the only Scripture with this warning. We see this same warning and the results of ignoring it all throughout the Old Testament and with King Solomon. But this warning was not just for Israel or America would not have access to Scripture as Gentiles. In the Bible, we are referred to as "the west." We are the "melting pot" of ethnicity which includes the traditions and practices of those cultures on account of free religion. But we are still "one nation under GOD." We accept all religions, but that does not mean we, as a nation under God, are to adopt those pagan traditions and practices for ourselves that we have allowed to live in our country. Just because we allow pagans into our nation doesn't mean we are to live like them. We are still ordered to consecrate ourselves to the Lord as His children and even tell the pagans about Him. But sadly, this is what we have done with holidays, the pagan embrace. Christians are celebrating them just as unbelievers do; and just as Scripture predicted, it has and will become our downfall. We have accepted the pagan practices and mingled them with the Christian practices in holidays. We are even celebrating holidays that are strictly pagan as citizens in a nation, which was supposed to be governed by God. And just as God said, it will be our downfall and our nation will be handed over to the pagans; over to Satan (one world religion) before Christ's return.   Another however; this does NOT mean that celebrating Christmas and Easter make us hypocrites if we decide NOT to celebrate Halloween. Why? Because we can’t go around assuming everyone celebrates the same and adheres to those “American traditions" we allowed into our nation. Not everyone does egg hunts and Santa, and Halloween, and the pagan likes, but still celebrates Christmas and Easter, because it is normal. Some of us know the difference between Christian and pagan. Take my family for example. We did  used to do egg hunts and Santa when we were little, but it wasn’t because we were hypocrites. It was because we simply didn’t know until people started telling us. Ignorance would say “we don’t care,” and make all the excuses in the book to justify our continued holiday meandering. Not us. We looked into it, did our research, and y’know what? We stopped. Our Christmases and Resurrection Days are as Christ-centered as you could imagine, and we don’t go around calling everyone else ignorant hypocrites if they don’t celebrate the same as us, especially other Christians. It just gives Satan another foothold to strife and division among not just the church but ruining our witness to those who aren’t part of it. Our family doesn’t go around telling people they’re going to hell for celebrating Halloween and including Santa in Christmas and egg hunts at Easter. Of all the petty things in this life that are none of our business. We may lovingly give you the skinny on it if the Holy Spirit gives us permission, and we will do so lovingly; but what you do with that information is entirely up to you, and y’know what? We have to be okay with that. It’s things like these where God really is the only One who can judge you. This is why I’m posting information like this on a platform instead of telling you face to face. I love you enough to make the information available, but I’m not gonna shove it down your throat. A good rule of thumb in this life is this: Never assume anything about anyone and respect their choices. Some things are just between them and God, not them and you. A Christian’s job is to win souls, not arguments. Amen.

Everything you see and hear in any kind of media today, between social media (X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), the news, articles, talk shows, the web, music, movies, podcasts, books, everything; all tend to talk about the same things at the same time in a massive wave until it blows over to make way for the next. This is not just humans being creative as you will be told . This is exactly what Ephesians 6:12 was talking about! Ephesians 6:12- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual  hosts  of wickedness in the heavenly  places. The world is not influenced by the human nature that which is good (Genesis 1:31), as we are constantly deceived into believing (which is why some people believe that sin is a construct that the religious made up). The human condition is the flesh, and the flesh is corrupt and evil as the result of the curse in Genesis. Although we were originally intended to be good, once Adam and Eve sinned, the rest of the world from start to finish is cursed. Every human being is born into sin. This means that everything humans create, if it is not direct inspiration from God, is inspired by hell (the devil), and will be used for his benefit; that is, the ultimate destruction of mankind. And in order to do so for him, we will be tried and deceived into believing that it benefits us with him, that it is not leading to our destruction (because logically, what makes us feel good and happy should make peace, right?). Whatever we believe to be good, we will dismiss as a red flag. This is why gratifications such as sex, money, and fame/attention are the framework of our modern world. This is also why normalization has become our culture. We must normalize everything so that we can identify it as good, so that we can do whatever we want, and thus hope to create an ideal society. But this is impossible. The reality is, everything we strive to normalize is not good, because it is all inspired by our flesh, which is naturally controlled by evil. Rather than create an ideal society, it will lead to our downfall, which is where Jesus returns. True good only comes from God and His original intended design for creation. Everything else will gratify our flesh and ultimately destroy it. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Just as God is always doing something new (Isaiah 43:19), Satan will always try to keep up with it, manipulating it, and creating a counterfeit in which to deceive God’s children; to distract them; to have them worship/idolize what looks like God, but is not. Satan is the king of spiritual knockoffs; what looks like the real thing but is actually fake. Satan cannot create like God can. He is not omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent. Satan does not have his own Trinity (which is why he has demons). Keep in mind that God created Satan before he betrayed his Father. Satan can only manipulate what God his Father has already created. And because God’s ultimate creation is mankind after His own image and likeness, we are Satan’s top priority to manipulate. John 10:10 The thief [Satan] comes only to steal and kill and destroy [all forms of manipulation]. Social media is the master tool of any country’s government. It influences every single part of a country; economically, politically, financially, mentally, physically, socially, and even spiritually. It’s job? Mass manipulation . How? Fear.  Because they (the powers of darkness) know that large-scale fear causes people to perform out of it. It is how Satan was able to deceive an entire third of the angels of heaven to betray God and follow him into darkness; because they were afraid they would miss out on becoming like God if and when Satan succeeded. They too wanted fame, to be lifted up, and idolized, for the other angels to put their faith and trust in them instead of God. They didn’t think they were enough where God had placed them. Here on earth is no different and those same fallen angels and their master, Satan, are doing the exact same thing to God’s children, mankind. A third of the angels isn’t enough. He wants to take advantage of our cursed nature after Adam and Eve, whom he deceived the same way. He wants us to believe that we are not enough where God has placed us. He wants us to crave attention, to be lifted up, to have wealth and possessions that people below us will praise us over, to have such an influence that people put their faith and trust in us as mere mortals with physical power instead of God who is all powerful. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline [self-control, a sound mind]. The strategy is easy. It’s what we call “the system.” The more fear instilled, the more people act, and the more the people causing it to make physical profit, while the devil makes spiritual profit. Everything you see in media is a form of propaganda down to the Dubai chocolate trends; in fact, trends is what they are counting on to keep the public distracted (each oncoming trend is a perfectly timed wave of distraction so that when one ends, the other begins, an ongoing loop); and to think their impulsivity is normal, healthy even: “Good for the environment. Good for me.” They pose as doctors, scientists, professionals, people who think we are to put our trust in a degree, wealth, and popularity; and even the real ones are paid and manipulated to give you information that may or may not be true. They want us to put our faith in everything that is shoved down our throats without a choice so that we will embrace it. And once we’ve embraced it, they keep us there with false optimism, security, and encouragement, all unbiblical. They even turn the negatives into trends and aesthetics and celebrate them to appeal to the human condition. And with things like relative truth, opinion, and false religion, the more groups pinned against each other, the more fuel for the media fire. They are counting on us to create the drama for them, to viralize their information, no matter if it is good or bad. And worst of all, they take advantage of our flesh to the point of sin. It revolves around our flesh’s strongest weak points to keep us trapped: self-gratification. Everything is sexualized. Everything is worshipped and idolized to make you want it. Everything is in it for you, to help you, to make you fit in, to make you life a long and happy life; and all of it is based on nothing but perpetual darkness disguised as light. And the root of it all: Pride. Everything is about you, every man for himself. Even virtue has hidden evil motives, and we manipulate just like Satan taught us. And when your spirit has been stuffed full of everything the world has to offer from Satan, there isn’t any room left for God. In fact, “God doesn’t even exist.” And for those of us who are so enthroned by what the world tells us that we’ve become our own God, we will then accuse any form of self-restraint and glory to real truth as pure evil. We will accuse them of what we ourselves are doing: Controllist, occultist, sexist, racist, fascist, bigots, misogynist, supremist, anarchist, hater, selfish, etc. Sound familiar? And what does the system call it? Liberty, freedom, self-care, self-priority, and the bookend of them all: IDENTITY. Because once you place your identity in the world, that’s it. It will take a miracle for you to discover God’s real truth. And this alone is the reason why more people will wind up in hell than heaven; because they put their identity in the pride of their “forced” situation of flesh gratification, instead of accepting that it’s wrong. Pride cannot admit they are wrong. And individuals such as those involved in the lgbt+ community (who’s entire movement revolves around placing their identity in pride through sex) are in spiritual grave danger. 2 Corinthians 11:14 But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Today, the “big deal” is human health: Food dyes, processed food, poisons in all food, microplastics, radiation, etc. Essentially no food anywhere in the US is safe. The media is making such a big deal out of it, that people are making drastic decisions out of fear, even unpractical ones. There are microplastics in basically everything and they are claiming to cause sickness, disease, and early death. There is poison in everything, even health food, even whole foods that God made. There is radiation in appliances and telephone poles. All of a sudden, natural foods that came directly from the earth aren’t good enough for us and can even cause the same issues as the “bad food.” Every form of research from every person with an opinion, both professional and unprofessional alike are scrambled into one big argument that has pinned everyone against each other. And for what? Immortality??? Credibility??? Satan is counting on us to follow the world, to put our faith in anything besides God, to keep us afraid so that we will act on it, to remain distracted with trends and fears, and obsess over our looks, and our mental health, and our physical health. He wants us to put our faith in what the media says, because he is the designer and leader of it. He wants us distracted with things that don’t matter so that he can continue to work on things that actually do matter; and he will do whatever it takes to make sure those pointless things seem like they matter! When some of us get to heaven (and I hope and pray you do), Jesus isn’t going to say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant. You stayed away from microplastics and food dyes, processed foods, and pesticides. You stayed within twenty yards of an internet tower. You wore a mask and strictly ate nothing but organic foods you grew yourself in your back yard. You became vegan. You fought the patriarchy. And most importantly, you told everyone who didn’t live like you that they were wrong and that everything you did was what I would have done.” Do you read how absolutely ridiculous that sounds? Matthew 25:21 His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” The truth is that none of what the media says matters! Only what God says matters! We’re treating what the media warns us against like they’re sins, and if you don’t obey them, you’re sinning. If you decide not to get married or have children, you’re selfish. If you decide not to wash your fruits and veggies of the pesticides before you eat them, you’re sinning against your body, and you don’t care about cancer. If you eat meat, you’re going to hell (not an exaggeration). We need to stop caring about what the world says, and that isn’t even tied to the media. We hear that phrase “stop caring about what the world says,” so often and we sound like we agree with it; but then we’re struggling with crippling depression and anxiety to the point of suicide, some of us; meanwhile we scroll on our phones all day, and for some reason, we don’t put two and two together. God didn’t design us to be stupid; Satan did, and we let him. The full counsel of God is the only thing we need as our source of information in this life. The Holy Spirit was God’s original intended design after Jesus’ died for us, for us to turn to for Truth. Acts 20:27- For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will [counsel, Truth, original intended design] of God. The full will of God is not just the Bible. It is every word that comes out of God’s mouth, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. It is the Holy Spirit. John 14:15-17- “If you love me, obey   my commandments.   And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate [Helper], who will never leave you.   He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth . The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” The Holy Spirit will tell you literally everything you need (and some want) to know, so long as it is His will for you to know. Now, this doesn’t mean we are to be impractical with what we ask of Him and also what He asks of us. We are to give our requests to God in faith by His name and give all of our concerns to Him (John 14:13-14 and Philippians 4:6), but communication with God isn’t a one-way street. When He speaks to us, we are to listen and obey even when we don’t want to! When my sister contracted Hepatitis A, we didn’t abandon reason, fall on our knees, and beg Him to heal her. Yes, of course we prayed for her healing, but we still brought her to the hospital as per God Himself’s request! Even with the large medical bill, and even with the incompetence of most medical visits (I won’t go any further than that on that topic). That’s right! God works practically against Satan’s manipulation! He works everything for our good (Romans 8:28). Not only did He miraculously heal my sister, but the supernatural readings on her medical charts gave witness to the doctors. Her bilirubin count was so high in her blood, that she was supposed to be in a hepatic coma, yet was fully conscious and walking and talking as if she simply had the flu. The doctors gave our mom a comparison to give us perspective: As if the optic nerve in a human eye was completely severed, yet the eye was still fully operational and could still see. I had a teacher who told us another time God was practical to the world’s system. On a weekday when she was supposed to be at work, she told God she wanted to stay home and just worship Him all day. It sounds perfectly acceptable for a Christian, and she expected God to be proud of her for her level of surrender. But to her surprise, God told her to go to work. She even argued with Him, and He reminded her that her surrender was in her obedience, not her works; that true worship is obedience (John 14:15) and if she really wanted to worship Him all day, she would go to work like He asked. Events like these prove just what matters and what doesn’t. Take the microplastic epidemic for example. Are they real and are they in our food like the fancy scientists with PhDs say they are and did heavy research on? Probably (and I personally don’t doubt it). But even if they are, will they affect our quality of life the same way living an intentionally unhealthy lifestyle would? NO. Some might say, they’re making a mountain out of a molehill, yet their media tactics are working. People are so afraid, they’re actually decreasing their quality of life by obeying the fear instead of ignoring it. They actually believe that ditching all plastic (including rumors where plastic exists where it doesn’t), will somehow give them a longer, higher quality, and happier life. And the vast majority of these people who put their trust in the media are already living unhealthy lives, so the few days they maybe feel better, they blame it on the absence of microplastics instead of the one day of the week they didn’t eat junk food. And mind you, this “groundbreaking” information is coming from the same people with degrees, who are telling us that whole foods (aka, the foods God designed for us to eat) are bad for us and the real health food will be made in labs. Unironically, the people who are actually listening to this and ditching whole foods for these lab-grown foods and alternatives are getting diseases and dying. Does that mean the media will backtrack and realize something might be wrong with their research being paid millions of dollars? NO. They’ll make something else up to cover it up and move on! And to think we actually listen to them as if it matters! If anything, they're being paid by the rich who advocate for population control (yes, I'm a conspiracy theorist, but only when it makes sense). A long, healthy life of good quality will never be achieved by following the media. It will only be achieved by doing what the Bible says and listening to God. We had a woman of God in the ministry I attend. Her name was Miss. Iru. She died at the ripe old age of 101. And she didn’t obey a single media fad, even the ones that claimed would make her life better. She consumed all the microplastics, and all the food dyes. She ate fast food and diet soda; and the majority of her life was lived before medical research even discovered the poison in the American food system. She alone is proof enough for me that today’s science is driven by money and not truth, and that living a life for Jesus and obeying God will have me outlive the wicked more than veganism. In fact, my philosophy is simple in the way that I live through food. Generally consuming “government poison” isn’t a sin (unless it becomes gluttony, but you can even be gluttonous in healthy eating). Moderation is key in every consummate on the planet, including real healthy food, and it’s in the Bible. Proverbs 25:16 says that too much of anything will make you sick, even good things. If I know that God made it, I’m going to eat it, and I don’t care what the media says about it. Most of them are not living for God nor do they listen or obey Him, so I shouldn’t care about what they say. Satan can’t tell me how to live my life, so I won’t listen to people who are clearly deceived by him. Ephesians 6:3 tells us what will give us long life on the earth and it doesn't say anything about avoiding certain foods, and microplastics, and everything modern science tells us to avoid. "If you honor your father and mother, things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth." By the way, when He says to honor your father, He isn't just talking about your earthly father; He is also telling you to honor your Father in Heaven, Father God. You must honor BOTH to have this long life promised, because HE is the one who promised it, not your earthly father. It's quite refreshing to discover that living a life following God and moderately eating junk food will still have me live a longer life than an unbelieving vegan. With God, you really can have your cake and eat it too. God even had people write about this in the Bible to tell us and we’ve thrown it under the bus, because we assume it’s “not specific enough.” Remember when I said that God will only tell you something if it’s His will for you to know? Maybe because if He tells us a secret that we don’t like, we’ll do as best we can to avoid it, even if it has to happen. Enter the New Testament! Matthew 24:6-13 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars [WW3?] but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom [Israel and Palestine? Russia and Ukraine?].  There will be famines and earthquakes in various places [no kidding]. All these are the beginning of birth pains [it’s gonna get worse]. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me [this has already started in more than 10 countries and over 360 million Christians]. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people [you have no idea]. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:37 When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day [we’re there]. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving. They will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! Isaiah 5:20-21 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! 1 Timothy 4:3 They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods [vegans?]. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth! The best part about all of this, is that we don’t have to worry about it when we put our trust in God and obey Him instead of the media. The only thing we have to worry about it not getting distracted by it even as we refrain! All of what you've just read, Christians are NOT exempt from! Even in living a life for Jesus, we can and ARE just as susceptible to the world system as unbelievers. This is why the Holy Spirit is so important!

Netflix's new KIDS movie, "K-Pop Demon Hunters," just textbook exposed the spirit realm behind musical idols and their demonic influence on their fans and wrapped it in a fiction candy wrapper. And when you live in the end times where the new rising generations are obsessed with the supernatural (and unfortunately the demonic), it’s no surprise it’s become, not only the #1 film in Netflix history, but also one of the top soundtracks, first as the album of a fictional animated band. I watched it twice, once by myself, and the last with friends. I too was excited to see the film, but upon its release, I felt that it wouldn't be what I thought it was. I'm not into K-pop and I don't really listen to secular music (especially since I got baptized in the Spirit). I am known to "watch what I watch," to keep from accidentally opening portals in my home, but I am a sucker for good animation, especially one with a super-hero type trope; and at least they're killing demons and not accepting/joining/using for good/ etc. like most everything else I see these days. So, when they took the term "demon hunters" literally with parallel allegories to Satan, demons, the spirit realm, and exposed a major truth in today's world, I was taken back...and not in a good way.   Let’s review the spiritual tidbits of this film:   Satan himself "Gwa-mi" personified as a blazing wall of purple fire and his demons in hell are the antagonists. Jinu, one of the demons and lead star of his boy band in the physical realm, "Saja Boys," used to be a human who listened to the lies of the devil and sold his soul for himself, while casting out his family in the process. His reward? Eternal punishment in hell as well as becoming a demon himself who does Satan's bidding. The rest of the Saja Boys are also demons who disguise themselves as irresistibly cute/handsome/hot K-pop boys in the physical realm. Meanwhile, the main character Rumi (female), is half demon on her father's side, just like the Bible predicted where demons would procreate with humans. Her and her two best friends, Zoey and Mira have their own female band, "Huntrix". Ironically, they're "demon hunters," as the title entails. Her and her BFFs’ jobs are to kill demons and keep them from eating people's souls, mainly, their fans (gee I wonder why). Unironically, this is exactly what Satan does through musical artists. He gets people to IDOLIZE their favorite artists and their music until they start listening to the demons their music comes with. He gets them to meditate it and always go to their music as a sanctuary to their troubles instead of going to God and His Word. This causes them to willingly make their spirits vulnerable for Satan to pounce just as 1 Peter 5:8 warns. And the demon Saja Boy band's logo? A lion. 1 Peter 5:8- Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.   At the end of the movie, Jinu sings an equally demonic song with the rest of the demon "Saja Boys," who's lyrics are textbook Satan speaking, while their stage atmosphere resembles hell and a Korean-style male coven levitating on the stage amongst thousands of worshipping fans who were seen listening to Gwa-mi (Satan) just moments before. And the song's title? "Idol." Here are the lyrics (Korean lyrics not included):   (Intro) Pray for me now I'll be your idol (Verse 1) Keeping you in check, keeping you obsessed, play me on repeat in your head. Anytime it hurts, play another verse, I can be your sanctuary. Know I'm the only one right now. I will love you more when it burns all down. More than power, more than gold, Yeah, you gave me your heart, now I'm here for your soul. (Pre-chorus) I'm the only one who'll love your sins. Feel the way my voice gets underneath your skin. (Chorus) Listen, cause I'm preaching to the choir. Can I get the mic a little higher? Gimme your desire. I can be the star you rely on. You can't look away. Don't you know I'm here to save you. Now we running wild. Yeah, I'm all you need, Imma be your idol. (Verse 2) Fame, I'm your idol. Thank you for the pain, cause it got me goin viral. Fever, making you a believer. Don't let it show, keep it all inside. The pain and the shame, keep it outta sight. Your obsessed feeds our connection. Give me all your attention. (Pre-chorus) I'm the only one who'll love your sins. Feel the way my voice gets underneath your skin. (Bridge) Living in your mind now. Too late, cause you're mine now. I'll make you free when you're all a part of me. (Chorus) Listen, cause I'm preaching to the choir. Can I get the mic a little higher? Gimme your desire. Watch me set your world on fire. You can't look away, no one is coming to save you. Now we running wild. You're down on your knees, Imma be your idol. Scary, isn't it?   During this scene (the final boss fight), the demon Saja Boys band is performing without their human disguises in their demon forms, preparing to steal everyone's souls who have sold them, listened to Gwa-mi (Satan) and are currently worshipping them under demonic control of their flesh. Even Rumi's best friends are there under control after finding out she is half demon; and have let their own insecurities and Satan’s lies in the form of SHAME, DOUBT, and ANXIETY lure them to the concert.   The thing is, Zoe, Mira, and Rumi (who walks in at the last second) are the only ones who can technically see into the spirit realm. Everyone else only sees a music concert performed by their musical idols and have no idea what's happening, much less what's about to. Satan and his demons are in everyone's face preparing to attack their souls, while they believe it is simply the special effects of a hype and harmless Pop concert. They even hold up their hands to be taken as if they are worshipping them! And what else? Gwa-mi himself in a giant blazing wall of fire, not only makes his appearance on the stage, preparing to feast on thousands of human souls who are willingly selling themselves to him, but he opens portals on the stage, allowing a hoard of demons into the arena to collect the souls, while everyone is fixed on their idols and their textbook idol-worship song. I can't make this stuff up!   At last, Rumi, the half demon and lead of the female band (who’s just gone through a personal spiritual crisis with her demonic identity and family trauma), storms in, gets her friends' attention, and flips the music from demonic to...half demonic? But somehow, it turns all the darkness into light, even claiming it to be light in her own lyrics??? Long story short, the demon-hunter female K-pop band do their duty. Satan "Gwa-mi" and his demons (Saja Boys included) are banished back into the spirit realm with a shield created by Rumi and her friends' music, and all is right with the world. And as a believer in the spirit realm, lemme tell you that's not how that works; Two humans and one demon fighting other demons, implying there are good and bad demons and the good demon wins??? Even their clothes turn from black to white and night becomes day upon their victory. Rumi and her friends are just as much musical idols with fans who worship them just like the demon boy band who were actual demons from hell. But they've still implied that there is good idol worship and bad idol worship. And because Rumi is half demon, her voice has the same visible captivating effect on her fans' souls just like the bad demons. The only thing she doesn't do is direct them to Gwa-mi and instead, uses the energy from their souls to power the shield to keep the demons away by way of her singing voice. Let me deviate for a second and let you know that is EXACTLY what witches do. They practice witchcraft to supposedly repel demons and replace the dark with "light," when in reality, the demons are acting like they are leaving to deceive them; they always come right back. And with the witches who see demons as good, the demons will act like they are the ones bringing the light (that is, of their flesh) and helping them. This is the textbook demon deception Jesus talks about in Matthew 12:43-45: “When an evil   spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none.   Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So, it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order.   Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.” When witchcraft convinces its own brother to cease its oppression, it is only temporary but purposeful in deceiving the victim; for if and when the victim continues its practice under them, their oppression will return even worse than when it stopped. This is exactly what’s happening to the new rising generations. They use idolization and/or new age spirituality to keep evil from oppressing them. Demons can see expression and they will head to the person’s practice in order to deceive them into believing it works; but eventually, they will begin oppressing again so that their master, Satan, can receive more worship, and the victim is trapped in an endless cycle of counterfeit peace and true oppression. SHAME and GUILT are heavy antagonizing themes in this movie. Y'know, the two things Satan uses to manipulate us with our sin and identity...which unironically, is what Rumi's storyline is. Her identity as half demon brings confusion, fear, and shame, which is what causes her demon side to surface anyway after years of hiding it from everyone. At first, she tries to be free from it, but after meeting Jinu and hearing his story of how he became a demon, she is instead persuaded to embrace her demon side and instead, use it as a force for good. This is another thing witches do. Some believe that they are "good witches," who want to help people, when deep in the back of their mind, their actions are to benefit themselves in the endgame. Which is great to know, because we find out later that this is exactly what we find out about Jinu. He uses Rumi, makes it seem like there's romantic chemistry, and makes it seem like he is helping her to the point of sacrifice, when in reality, he was fulfilling a deal he made with Gwa-mi to gain something for himself when it was all over. The endgame results in the same betrayal actions that condemned him to demonhood in the first place with his family, just as Judas did to Jesus.   The movie visualizes what happens in the spirit realm to people who idolize musical artists and the demonic effects which go on during live performances, but instead of good defeating evil, they defeated evil with...half evil and called it good, just like Isaiah 5:20 predicted. They had demon Rumi and her friends become "angels of light" (2 Corinthians 7:14) upon their victory over Gwa-mi and his demons to make sure they didn't lose their fans. They even expose what happens to the artists themselves behind closed doors as they "battle demons," but from a literal standpoint. The three of them also go through personal mental tribulations unique to their character and storyline: Shame, anxiety, and identity confusion. In the end, they didn't "save the day" as the demon slayer superhero trope tries to entail. They simply enchanted their affected fans from idols of darkness back to themselves as idols of light (but still idols). They redirected the victims from the obvious demonic back to the hidden demonic and played the rescue card, just like what Satan is doing to people today. What's worse is, some music artists genuinely believe they are for their fans and are trying to make people happy and make the world a better place, which is the case for Zoey and Mira, Rumi's human BFFs and co-artists. When in reality, they could be leading people to hell without even realizing it, because they are blinded by the exaltation the money, and the counterfeit happiness attached to it. Such influence is the case for Rumi. Not only is she half demon, but she is the leader of the group, and part of the main plot line of the film was that her demon side was kept secret and not even her BFFs knew about it. Her friends didn't know who they were being led by. They had been believing they were protecting people from demons, when they had been faithfully working alongside one the whole time, even though she claimed to be "not like them" that is, the other demons. She is the perfect representation of an angel of light the Bible warns against.   The movie's takeaway: So long as you fight your demons and win, you can still worship idols in the form of music and live a happy liberating life. Feel shame? Depression? Anxiety? Having trouble knowing your identity? Go listen to your music. Meditate on your favorite secular song. Worship idols of light and stay away from idols of darkness. Let your favorite music and your favorite artist be your sanctuary. Make yourself vulnerable so the lyrics can speak to you, so the artist can speak to you...even if the artist is obviously a demon in your ears. Don't worry, she's a good demon. She's here to whisper only positivity in your ears, not negativity; only your truth, not lies. There's that danger of relative truth again.   Satan isn't hiding anymore. He could literally show up in the physical realm without any alterations to his form, tell people that he was here to help, and 90% of the world's population would believe him! It's movies like these that are preparing Satan for his final move. Cinema fiction is not fiction. They are portraying the spirit realm in your face.   James 3:6 says, “ The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” This verse specifies the tongue, but in Matthew 15:18, Jesus Himself teaches, “But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.” What you meditate on in your mind will eventually come from your mouth whether you want it to or not. Speech is a form of expression , which is what Jesus was also trying to convey. Expression is not just speech, but creativity; speech is the verbal form of creativity, such as things like songs and books. So then, other forms of creativity (whose process involves mostly of speech and communication) are the creation of films and art, or visual creativity. Today’s creativity is directly inspired by hell and a master of manipulator to what sounds like truth and spiritual safety. The majority of today’s cinema is real in the spirit realm, but labeled with fiction, because even the producers don’t know who they are led by, just like Zoey and Mira, the characters they created.     A Quick Highlight on “Idol”   There's a rumor going around that the song "Idol" in Netflix's new K-Pop Demon Hunters was a Christian inspired song whose lyrics were meant to purposely expose what happens in the spirit realm when you idolize musical artists. Although this could be true, (and they nailed it) let me inform you of a very real situation regarding ANY "Christian inspiration," in a secular setting.   When you expose the works of darkness, if you don't circle the exposition back to God and give the ultimate solution of Truth, aka, Jesus, Scripture, and the counsel of God, your effort is going to backfire.  It is proof your inspiration came from hell and not heaven. Satan is a master theologian. He knows the Bible. He even tried to use it against Christ Himself. He knows your interests, and he knows where you’re weak. This is all he needs to inspire you to create something that will benefit himself instead of God, which can happen to both Christians and non-Christians alike.   This movie is NOT a Christian movie. In fact, it's quite demonic (duh). Even the "good guys" take on the same idolization as the demons, and once they exposed the truth in the song, they never showed the viewers who to turn to after turning away from the demonic stronghold. In fact, they instead, had the viewers turn to a "lesser counterfeit" that looked and sounded good, but was no lesser idolization than the demons (and one of the good guys is half-demon! Sounds exactly like something Satan would do, since he is the king of counterfeits, huh!). When you decide to create something based on the supernatural, if its intent does not draw people to God, it will always produce the wrong intent. Unfortunately, you can see this as the result of this movie. Everything this film has produced is far from God despite its spiritual truth, and you can see it all over social media. Rather than realizing the dangers of music, they are obsessing over the characters and the soundtracks; and some have even gone as far as sexualizing the characters into their own personal fantasies and visual creations. Just as the film exposed the darkness, rather than turn from it, its viewers are worshipping it. The song “Idol” is used as just another secular song to meditate on as they would with anything else aside from God. And as a result, rather than repelling demons, they are inviting them in (some on purpose).   If the producers were trying to expose how Satan traps people in idolizing music and their artists, they didn't help. They made it worse! The addressed the spiritual issue without giving them the real solution. They simply traded one evil for another and called it "good,” just what the book of Isaiah prophesied in the last days, which we are in. Here are some loving reminders of what God says about idols (idolatry). Exodus 20:3-6 (ESV) You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. 1 John 5:21 (ESV) Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 Corinthians 10:14 (ESV) Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
